    Fazit: Bargeld ist im Senegal das eigentliche Zahlungsmittel, nur exklusive Hotels und Restaurants akzeptieren Kreditkarten

      Bunq card is not working in Sénégal unlike what I’ve read here before coming. Can’t pay and can’t withdraw money. It put me in a very dangerous situation.

          @yzai#244903 Outside of The Netherlands, you should use the Mastercard. That's why bunq recommends to get a Mastercard when you travel abroad.

              @yzai#244903 Das sollte man aber wissen, dass Maestro außerhalb der EU nur in ganz wenigen Ländern funktioniert. Man informiert sich doch vorher online.

                Thanks a lot guys. It works perfectly in Morocco and Tunisia. So bad I haven’t checked before, I thought it’ll work fine in Sénégal. It was very dangerous when the merchant saw that my card is not valid and started to be violent
