  • Implemented: Make balance graph scroll with transaction list

I really like the new balance graph in the account details section that was added with Update 12.

But as I started scrolling back in time through my transactions list, and saw that the graph was made β€œsticky” and remained at the top of the screen while scrolling through transactions, I wondered why the point on the graph wasn’t moving as I was scrolling back through the transactions.

I think this would be a really great way to see the historical balance of your account as it changes over time, transaction by transaction.

Likewise, when the graph is sticky on the top of the screen, and you tap on a point on the graph, it would be cool to have the list of transactions automatically scroll to the relevant transaction and briefly highlight it.

Also scrolling the list of transactions as you drag/scroll the graph would be great.

In short: the balance graph and the transaction list should stay in sync when you scroll either of them. To be honest it seemed like such an intuitive concept, my brain was slightly confused that it didn’t already work like this way πŸ˜†

Please bunq, make it happen!

@Michael-Indigo-Badger-440710752#120081 Revolut has it like this. And they also have the possibility to disable the Chart, because for some users the additional information is useless. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
I would also like to have that with bunq πŸ‘πŸ˜¬

Goed idee! Ook het laden van de grafiek mag sneller. Voelt nu nog erg traag op android.

@IRernst#120432 Indeed the balance graph is slow and jerky on Android which contrasts with the relatively smooth performance of the same feature on iOS. It is rather counter intuitive that the graph doesn’t move accordingly when you scroll through your transaction list.

@Reworker71#120447 In iOS, the function is not as fast as it should be. It also comes to the delayed construction. There is still plenty of room for improvement that will surely come with the next update. But I like the new feature.

@Michael-Indigo-Badger-440710752#120081 This would be a great improvement and I wish it comes with next updates!

              Great idea! +1

Yes please make the graph scroll with the page, it is annoying that this graph is made sticky!

Please allow people to choose to either show it or not at all!

                    Hi all!

We all know bunq 🌈 values our ideas!

So, in today's ios update... the graph and events stay in sync when you scroll either of them! πŸ“ˆπŸ‘Œ

                    Amazingly cool, isn't it?

Love it. I know some people don't like the timeline but I really like how it moves while scrolling.

It is still not possible to completely hide it though, that’d be nicest. :)

Unfortunately this is not (yet) available in the Android app...

@JohnDo#122880 But when you swipe to the future, I would expect the transaction list to stay still. Right now it jumps up.
