• Scheduled "fill up"

I have a couple of accounts I use for budgeting. Groceries, automatic recurring payments, etc.

Let's take my groceries for example. I set aside 400 euro per month. I do this by means of a scheduled payment.

Now imagine this. I've been careful enough, so I haven't spent the full 400 euros. When my monthly budget comes in, I end up with more than 400 euros in my groceries account. Doing this for a couple of months in a row makes my groceries account grow way over 400.

My suggestion: make it possible to do a scheduled fill up. Instead of adding 400, ad up TO 400 euros, so I start with my fixed budget as I intended.

Oder du buchst das überschüssige Geld alle paar Monate auf dein Hauptkonto zurück. Oder gehst mit der Familie ins Restaurant/ Theater/ Kino. oder. oder. oder

@Bernd-Cyan-Penguin#121049 Absolutely agree, there's alternatives. But hey, Bunq is here to make our banking easier and more onjoyable, right? :D

I would prefer to see in my main account that I have a couple of extra bucks to spend, rather than having them spread over a couple of budgetting accounts. And of course, then I'll take my family out to diner AND to the cinema! ;)

@Bernd-Cyan-Penguin#121066 Very interesting. I've used IFTTT for other things before, but with readily available recipes. This would take some time to fiddle with I guess, but if bunq is not planning to implement my idea, I'll give the IFTTT approach a shot on a rainy day.

Hey guys from bunq, I see there's a separate section for ideas. Could you please move this thread to that section? Or should I repost it there myself?

A "fill to" option for a recurring payment would save me a lot of administration every month!
