• Separate iban for sub account?

Is there a way to get a separate/different iban number for one of my "sub" accounts? I have given my son one of my debit cards, and I've set up a second line for him, set a spending limit, and linked it to an account i created for him on my membership. Then I noticed my iban number is in the card I gave him ... I'd just as soon not have him running around with that number in his pocket. Can I get up a separate iban for that card, or would I need to buy him his own membership in order to get a separate iban?

Please note that it is against the terms and conditions to give your card to another person. They must only be handed someone else after explicit permission from bunq.

The print on the debit card doesn't tell much as you can connect your card to any of your IBAN's that you have or are connected to. You can change this in the Cards tab. If the only thing that matters to you is the printed out IBAN on the card, then yes, you should order a new card and select a different IBAN to print on it.

@TwitNour#121954 Just to note: you will never get that permission from bunq as a normal consumer. The only reason you can get the permission, is when you’re placed under court ordered supervision for your finances. You won’t even get permission to share a card on the holiday, heh.

@LH-Black-Wolf#121982 Thanks for the additional info. I've never been in the circumstance that I had to lend out my card, can't think of a situation where it would be safe too.

For @Thomas-Navy-Owl-1370282050#121952 it might be the best to open a new account for your son. Either a Pack or just regular Premium.

@TwitNour#121983 It’s easy if you can interchange cards linked to a joint account with your wife and to share a card on the holidays and trips. :) Although admittedly, I guess it’s not safe to give her any card haha. ;)

Bunq said even sharing cards in that way is strictly prohibited and permission to use each others cards is never granted. That passage in the terms is for legal stuff only.
