  • Desktop App or Web app

Hi,

I was wondering: I understand there is no webapp and I also understand why. But I still have a question about this:

Wouldnt this be possible the way Together or Whatsapp Web works?

So: You have to login using your phone (scan QR code).

The way Whatsapp web works, is that the web version acts as a "second screen". You need to be online (with your phone) with a stable internet connection all the time.

Is that a possibility to add a Web version?

Thanks!

We don't have a web interface like Whatsapp but our desktop project lets you login using a QR code now which already makes things easier :)

Maybe for 2019 a bunq mac app when iOS apps can be “easily” porter to macOS. 😇

I just bought a new laptop and the pre-installed McAfee anti-virus program saw BunqDesktop.Setup.0.8.9.exe as a risk and deleted it!

The code isn't code signed and thus seen as "Unknown" by your anti-virus. If you make sure you download the file directly from Github than you should be fine :)

Any progress on the topic? I would love to move multiple bank accounts to bunq but without a web interface provided or verified by bunq I am not going to do it...

Still the same: not on the roadmap of bunq, but there is a fantastic informal desktop app build by Gregory & Co. You definitely should give that one a try!

Although, in that way we could have an iPad app by now. Which we don’t

I really think you are missing a lot of potential customers by this omission. For one I would move our sports club if there would be a desktop client from bunq. I think there is a lot of potential paying customers that are not using bookkeeping software.

I know it. It looks nice but my problem is that it is not from bunq. So I have to trust another person. Also one that is not a bank...

@Auke-Grey-Swan#30149 I know that MoneyMoney for Mac does support bunq, but I can't tell you how far the support goes. It could be possible that you can only store your transaction history and that's it.

@Lotte-Golden-Zebra#6579 Because it's not on you roadmap for the following quarters. I had to transfer to KNAB bank because they do offer this solution. I would like to come back to BUNQ, but first tackle this desktop issue. I would transfer with 5 business accounts and 2 personal when Bunq would offer desktop solution. You guys are really missing out some clients. Why kind of strategy is this? You guys would tripple if you solved this issue.

@Petervdv#93045 Most of the banks do have a costumerservice which you can call, mail or app for different problems. Bunq doesn’t have a service like that.
