If you’re here you may have tried to top up using SOFORT and are now receiving an error that you have reached your daily limit when no top up was completed like the one below.
Why was this happening?
In most cases, this error may have appeared because you initiated a Sofort top up but didn’t complete it 🙅♂️
Sofort tells us when a top up is initiated but does not tell us when it wasn’t completed, so the transaction counts towards the €250 daily limit even though it wasn’t completed.
In other cases, it would appear because you did top up and reached your €250 daily limit.
How can I prevent this from happening?
When you want to do a Sofort top up, make sure that you complete the transaction in the same session you initiate it in to prevent receiving this message. 👍
My top up limit has been reached, what now?
If you have reached your daily top up limit, we advise you to wait 2 working days, or check out this topic for some advice on other ways you can top up your bunq account.
