• Push Notifications instead of QR Codes

Why would this fix 3D secure? The underlying problem doesn't have to do with getting the payment request to the bunq app unless I'm missing something

3D secure has more problems . When you are making a 3d secure payment on the same device (Android phone) in an app the bunq 3d secure page tries to redirect you to the bunq app, because you can't scan qr codes on the same device. But this doesn't work because in app web view browsers doesn't support redirects to other apps.

And I am not talking about the normal mobile browsers, only about the in app browsers which get opened when you start a 3d secure request.

Indeed, and you don't even have to enter anything on the 3D Secure page since they already have the credit card number, so they know to what account the push needs to be sent to.

I also think, this would be the right thing. N26 uses also push notifications for 3DS and this works awesome from the beginning.

Had this exact issue with in-app browsers, too.

I experienced issues with 3d secure so that needs a fix anyway. I'm not for push notifications though, because they can be seen and sometimes utilized when the device is locked or the notification can be cleared by accident. Scanning a QR code gives me a secure feeling
