Did you know that there are at least 7,102 existing languages in the world? Pretty amazing, right? 🌎

At bunq, we haven't quite reached that number... but we do have colleagues and users from all over the world. In the bunqr alone we speak about 15 different languages!

Why is our main communication in English?

  • We’re an inclusive bank and want to give everyone the opportunity to experience bunq! English is the most widely spoken second language in the world, which means that it's the best way to communicate with the most people!

  • A lot of our users come from all over the world. We’re proud to welcome so many expats, most of whom share the same common language of English. By communicating in English we can help serve as many users as we can, no matter where they're from!

  • A lot of bunq employees are expats too! In fact, bunq now has people from 34 different countries! We're people who love to travel and experience different countries and cultures. English enables us to do so!

What if I want to speak with someone in a different language?

If you want to speak to someone in your own language, this is no problem! Let us know your preferred language at the time of contact and we’ll make it happen. There's almost always a bunqer to help you out in Dutch, German, Italian or Spanish.

Warum erfolgt unsere Hauptkommunikation auf Englisch?

Wussten Sie, dass es auf der Welt mindestens 7.102 Sprachen gibt? Ziemlich erstaunlich, oder? 🌎

Bei bunq kommen wir dieser Anzahl zwar nicht annähernd so nahe, aber wir haben auch Kollegen und Nutzer aus der ganzen Welt. Zusammen sprechen wir etwa 15 verschiedene Sprachen. Wie dem auch sei, wenn du jemanden in deiner Muttersprache sprechen willst, lass es uns einfach wissen und wir lassen es geschehen. Es gibt immer einen bunqer der dir in Niederländisch, Deutsch, Italienisch oder Spanisch weiter hilft!

Lo sapevi che ci sono almeno 7012 lingue parlate nel mondo? Incredibile, vero? Da bunq non ci avviciniamo a quel numero ma abbiamo colleghi e utenti da tutto il mondo e insieme parliamo circa 15 lingue diverse! Se vuoi parlare con qualcuno nella tua lingua, faccelo sapere e faremo in modo di aiutarti. Ci sarà sempre un bunqer pronto a parlare con te in olandese , tedesco , italiano o spagnolo!

En bunq, no nos acercamos a esa cantidad pero tenemos compañeros y usuarios de todo el mundo y ¡en conjunto hablamos unas 15 lenguas! Si deseas hablar con alguien en tu propia lengua, dínoslo y lo haremos posible. ¡Siempre hay un bunqer encantado de ayudarte en holandés , alemán , italiano o español 😀
