Is it possible to change the date when I pay for my membership?

I pay for my membership around the middle of the month but would like all my outgoing payments to be done on the 1st. Is this possible?

Ivan As far as I know this is not possible, since you just pay on the date when you first opened your membership.

Ivan My workaround for that problem is, I'm using one of the 25 IBAN Account, for the bunq membership. At every first of the month, I pay my bill to that account, and bunq deducts it from there at the middle of the month. Problem solved.

It's not possible to change the date as you pay the month in advance and it uses your sign-up or upgrade date.

I personally use an account for all my monthly expenses where I send a specific amount to. You can schedule this any date you want. 😊

Amber 🇳🇱🇬🇧 I thought so but shame :( I like paying everything the first of the month and then knowing I don’t have to worry about leaving some aside.

Ivan I get that. Fortunately you don’t have to worry about not being able to pay your membership, as this will even be deducted from your account if you have insufficient funds.

As bunq is the bank of the free, choosing the billing date would be a nice feature to offer.

Bunq could let you change this, and charge you the first time accordingly to the period that is longer than a month. Or charge you partially for the difference between the original billing date and the new billing date.

I agree that you can create workarounds for this issue but still it would be nice if one could change the scheduled payment date. As Sam 🇳🇱🇬🇧 said, bunq is the bank of the free :-)
