When money is transferred to a closed bunq account this bounces back to the originating bank account.

This is processed in the originating bank's first clearing batch after the payment bounces back.

Normally you will have the money back in the originating account within 1 business day or less after it has reached us👍

ps: keep in mind that to reach us first, it will also take up to one day!
