  • Dismiss 'Add your card to Apple Pay' button

Hi everyone πŸ‘‹

Situation
I use bunq on both my iPhone and iPad. Of course I love to use Apple Pay but I don't have all cards added on both devices as for me it doesn't make sense to use all these cards on my iPad Wallet due to the great use of Online Cards. Now because I don't have my cards added to the Wallet of that specific device there's this button to add it to the Apple Pay Wallet which I can't dismiss.

Solution
It would be great to be able to dismiss this button by swipe left and X for example. This would be the same as the 'refer a friend' button could be dismissed in the accounts tab.

What does that Apple Pay button look like?

If you agree make sure to smack that high-five πŸ™Œ button, if you have any comments leave it down below.

Cheers! 🌈

I've heard some rumors that on Android there's the exact same problem with an Add to Google Pay button, of course the implementation should be the same there. :D

    Yes, Please! πŸ™
I still have the old virtual Maestro card for Apple Pay, from the first introduction. I use that one for Apple Pay, so I can connect my physical Maestro card to another sub-account. This button is kinda annoying to me, especially as it pops into view.

The button is still available from the Card Details section, so the option is still available from the app if the button is dismissed.

Exactly, it would still be possible to add the card from the card details so the big button can be dismissed without removing the function.

        Hi there Tim πŸ‘‹πŸ»
Nice idea πŸ’‘. I would like to see this as well, especially because I don't want to add my business cards πŸ’³ from my business account to my Apple Pay. I can see more use cases for this.

@Tim#137899 Yeah great idea! I don’t want to add all my cards to Apple Pay, just the relevant ones. Would be great if you can dismiss this button 😊
          Here’s another high-five 🌈

            a month later

yes, good idea, I also have some cards not added to Wallet on purpose

Great idea, it takes up too much space anyway and the cards that have not yet been added to the wallet will never be added anyway πŸ˜‰

@Delano#141013 yes. and also there's a limit of 12 cards in Wallet as that's the maximum the secure enclave can hold on recent iOS devices, with my other bank accounts from other fintechs I've already exceeded that limit, so I can't even add all the card I want

                  5 months later

Now with the new card overview of online cards more than ever this would be a great improvement. 😊
