  • Green Card - Trees planted notifications

Hello!

I got the Green Card to join the cause and I’m really happy with it.

However, I would appreciate to have more granularity on the settings for notifications around trees that have been planted, say:
- every €100 spent (current, quite disruptive)
- every week (total # of trees based on total amount spent during that week on the card)
- every month (same logic as week)
- off?

Thanks 👋

    @mtzaquia#138930 Yes I like this, because most of the times I know when I’m about to plant a new tree.

    A weekly/monthly summary would be nice to have 😄

      @mtzaquia#138930 Ich freue mich über jede Nachricht zu den bisher 185 gepflanzten Bäumen. Detaillierter brauche ich es nicht.

        @Heiko-Hartwig#139321 185? Könntest du mal zeigen, wie das bei dir aussieht? Mich würde das irgendwie interessieren wie 185 Bäume in der Grafik untergebracht sind... 😅

          @Heiko-Hartwig#139326 Junge, junge! Respekt! 😅👍🏻

            @mtzaquia#138930 I just wanted to high-five and bump this topic.

            Recently I found myself getting a little annoyed by the high frequency of ‘you planted a tree’ notifications. Pretty much every other time I go to the shop, or buy something I get my notification that says I made a card payment and directly on top another notification saying I planted a tree. In addition, every time I open the app I have a tree counter at the first page, and with the new app I believe it’s gonna get even more prominent.

            I personally think that bunq is now going a bit head over heels with the tree planting. It’s a great feature, but not something I need directly in my face every time I make a payment or open my banking app.

            Therefore I would like to high-five this suggestion and make some additional suggestions:
            - Allow people to turn tree planting notifications off.
            - Keep the tree planting as a nice benefit/feature, but less prominent along the bunq app.
