  • Copy IBAN with one click on a button

Right now there is a share functionality that includes information like this:

IBAN: NL00BUNQ0123456789
BIC: BUNQNL2AXXX

It would be most helpful if there is a button or some other way to copy the IBAN number of an account with one click so you can share that or copy it to somewhere else. 99% of the time I need just the IBAN, not the BIC. And now I have to manually type it over as usually pasting the above is not allowed in controlled form fields.

@Fastjur#139189 If you long press on the IBAN you get an option to directly copy it 🙂

      Hi 👋 @Fastjur#139189

You can tap and hold on the IBAN to copy from the account screen. When you tap on the IBAN and the second screen opens you can also tap and hold there on the IBAN to copy the IBAN only.

I did not know that. Thank you guys!

@Andreas#139190 @Tim#139191 On the 2. screen (the screen showing you the IBAN + BIC) you can't tap and hold the IBAN or BIC to copy them on Android, this is iOS exclusive sadly.

@johannes#139199 It works for me on android! By holding down on the IBAN it gets copied

@Fastjur#139212 I was talking about the 2. screen, when you click on the IBAN you can see your IBAN and BIC in an extra window, and there you can't do it (at least 2 weeks ago). :)

@johannes#139216 Ah no there you can't indeed.

@johannes#139216 In that case it’s also not possible on iOS, it takes another step. Luckily it’s possible from the main details screen, so that’s already one step less

@WJanson#139245 I'm on iOS right now, when I go to an account -> click on the IBAN -> I get the little "Account details" screen and when I click on the IBAN or BIC I get the share window for both and there I can just hit "copy".

@johannes#139246 Yes but that’s one step extra compared to tap an hold on the screen before that

@WJanson#139247 That's true! But Tim mentioned the second screen before, and I just wanted to point out that on Android you can't copy your IBAN or BIC there :) Not really an issue for the IBAN, but for the BIC in my opinion. When I have to fill out a form and sometimes I get asked for the BIC, on Android I'd need to type the BIC in manually as I can't copy just the BIC there, but on iOS that works :)
