  • Refill from Bunq account

Hi all,


Is it possible to set up automatic refills from a bunq account instead of ideal or sofort?


I like to be able to refill my periodic set payments on an account if it falls under a certain threshold. That way I do not have to keep track of when certain payments need to be made.

    Since we cannot just get money from another bank, we made a feature for you 👍

    If you tap on the top-up function in a bank account in the bunq app, you will see the 'Refill notifications' setting. In there you can set a threshold under which the app sends you a message 😄

      To bad, would like to do an automatic swap between IBAN accounts attached to my user. Notification will do for now I recon!

      Just to be 100% clear, it is not from another Bank, it is from a bunq to another bunq both owned by me.

        My story only applies to topping up from non bunq accounts.


        To do it between bunq accounts you can use scheduled payments. An automatic one based on a threshold is on our wishlist 👌

          Just copy pasting my own post to expand on this request:


          There is this potentially great feature to automatically top up an account when the balance drops below a certain threshold. Currently, this can only be done through iDeal or Sofor, but why not allow topping up from one of my other Bunq accounts? This way, accounts can be more easily used as a means of budgeting/grouping certain expenses while also allowing refilling more easily. Just sent a notification and with a click of a button the balance is topped up to a certain amount.

            Would love to have this. Have a personal account that should be topped up by business account when below a threshold

                  Do I miss something here? Everytime I read about a wish to do auto top ups from a bunq account, I read the answer 'your wish is our command' but that always seems to revert to toping up with ideal or sofort. Also the refill option talks about ideal and other banks then bunq.

                  Is this gem hiding somewhere?
