How does this work?
In case of an emergency, you can easily file an insurance claim via the bunq app. To see how to do this in the app, follow the steps below:
- Go to Home tab
- Select the desired account
- Select the payment you need help with
- Tap on Show more
- Select Need help with this payment?
- Make sure your situation is listed in view terms
- Tap on File an insurance claim
- Receive an email to your bunq email address containing a link to set up your MyCompanjon account.
- Click on the link to complete your account's setup
Are there other requirements to receive insurance?
Although we would like all bunqers to be able to enjoy this feature, due to specific regulations, the insurance is only available for Metal Card holders with Easy Green plans in all countries where we operate.
We want all of our bunqers to be able to use this in the future, so we’ll update this list if we add any new groups!
