• Green membership suggestions

Hi there,
I wanted to give a little feedback.
Is is possible to implement a tree planting program for Australia since everything that’s going on? But most importantly, I would love that the tree count could be tied to my whole account and not just to the card.
For example, up until today, we haven’t received the physical cards, some places don’t support Apple Pay, and I have “wasted” at least 10 trees because I had to use my travel card.
Given how expensive the green membership is, can you allow us to spend without worrying about what card to use? That would be great!

@Xavi#141532 Also, not every bunq country has Apple or Google Pay. On Android you have Tap & Pay as an alternative, but payments with it also don't plant trees :s

      Hi 👋 @Xavi#141532

Except for the part about doing something for the very sad situation in Australia the idea of planting trees with other cards already exist. It would be great if you could leave your high five in the following topic:
      https://together.bunq.com/d/23445

Edit: Commenting in the linked topic is unfortunately no longer possible due to repetitive discussions during the launch of the Green card.

Regarding your other suggestion; The current partner of bunq that plants the tree's isn't active in Australia so that would make it a bit difficult. Donations to WWF, Red Cross and Australian Fire Departments can still help out of course ;)

@Tim#141541 The topic seems to be closed, so feedback cannot be added.

But I very much agree. In my case I would love to plant trees using bunq but don't need another card that will disappear in my wallet to never be used. If at least I can plant trees with any Apple Pay or physical card would be possible, I would be happy to pay the fee.

So why not add the extra bonus of being able to use any card you like for planting trees for premium users with a green card, while users with only a green card subscription can only use the green card.

Woops, indeed I see the topic is closed. High fiving the initial post still shows the product team that it's desired though! 🙌

@Tim#141546 True :). But by closing this thread, no discussion on the topic is possible.

@Hemmik#141547 I'll keep this open and see if feedback stays constructive.

              Have a nice day!
