• Looking for Apple watch app?

@Maybe#143311 you need WatchOS 6.1, and as far as I know that didn't ship to the first gen watches.

It could be a problem with tags (or however search results are generated) in the Apple store. If you search for bunq you just get the iOS app, searching for bunq for Watch finds it.

@Mohammad-Purple-Zebra#144246 It’s free for all payed bunq memberships.

                Ideen?

                  Also - 2 Tipps

@Petrus-Olive-Tiger#144289 when you open the app on the watch the first thing you should see is a QR code that you can scan with your phone. 👌

Private account werkt perfect.

                        15 days later

I ‘purchased’ the Watch app in the Apple Store.

                        Problem:
                        - The Bunq Watch App does not show up on my watch
                        - it does not show up in the Apple Watch App
                        - the listing in the App Store shows ‘purchased’ but does not show a download button

                        I tried restarting my iPhone.
I tried deleting and reinstalling the Bunq app.
I tried installing the latest Watch OS and restarted my Watch.

Did not find the app and was frustrated about it.

                        Finally I found the solution:
                        - open the App Store app on your Watch itself
                        - search for ‘Bunq’
                        - click the cloud icon to download the Watch App to your Watch

Now the Apple Watch is installed on my Watch. It’s also showing up correctly in my Apple Watch IOS app.

This is seriously painful and frustrating. Also a very uncommon way to install an app. Unnecessary complicated.

Why doesn’t Bunq just integrate this watch app into the iPhone app, just like any other app?
