MohamedRookieIt would be nice if the Bunq app notifies you when you try to pay for something that your balance will not be enough for recurring payments. Like the rent of your home for example. If you try to buy shoes for example, the Bunq app will tell you that the home rent will be mayed in xx days and you wont be able to do so.
ReinieRAceInteresting idea, how I solve this:
having a separate savings account for fixed recurring payments. when my salary comes in I automatically fill that account with the required amount. The direct debits and recurring payments will go from that savings account. I sum up the total costs and match that with my savings goal. So I can during the month with the percentages if everything is going well.
I simply don’t touch that account after I put money in it every month.
This is exactly why bunq is so good, they allow you to make “buckets” with money and savings accounts, so you don’t have to count everyday in you head if you can afford something.
RoeshimiWizard@ReinieR-Together#144701 That is exactly what I would have suggested. @wakanda-hero#144693 You should make use of the many IBAN accounts bunq offers you and separate your money as ReinieR wrote. Having so many accounts for budgeting is one of the many advantages of bunq
I just wish bunq would take over my finances completely. 😂
But till then, I’ll just have to continue using all those IBANS bunq offers me to put money aside just for the those recurring payments. 😉🤗
