Hi,
Is it possible to add a feature to scan tikkie qr codes in de bunq app and pay them direct?
Now I have to click and do stuff I don't want to do :-)
Greetings,

Hello Jan!
Thank you for your question, however scanning Tikkie QR Codes is not something currently on our roadmap!
What you can do is ask your friends to create a bunq QR code and you can also create bunq.me requests as well ๐
Your feedback is always appreciated :) Have a nice weekend! โ
Thanks margit for your reply.
Unfortunately the guy with the tikkie QR code doesn't user bunq, so your suggestion won't work. But it would be great if bunq can scan does QR codes and automatically go-to accept payment screen in bunq. That way I don't need to install a qr scanner, scan the QR code that will open the link, select a bank, click on a button and then go to bunq. This can be put on the road map I guess
Your friend can also share the Tikkie payment request via WhatsApp (or email), then you can pay the request via iDEAL and select bunq ๐๐
Like I said, they don't use bunq and they are not starting using bunq for some small payments. It would be great if in one qr scan the description you gave use the app can do. Save my 1 minute of my week, it's in the marginal gains ;-)
With an iPhone you can scan every QR-code with the built-in camera app, so you donโt have to install a QR-reader app. Just point the camera to the QR-code and click on the message-box ๐ท
What's the advantage? QR will do the exact same thing as clicking on the link. Thereby, most of the times a tikkie is send to a phone, what will make a qr useless.
Jan Henk, if youโve got an iPhone you can scan QR codes directly in the camera app so you donโt have to install a QR code scanner app. ๐
@JanHenk And what if the flow of tikkie changes? Then bunq must change their implementation of the qr reader. This makes no sense
The bunq app could hand over non-bunq QR codes to the OS?
That's a solution we can work with, the other options are all workarounds
bunq can better support iDEAL QR in The Netherlands: https://www.ideal.nl/ontvangen/aan-de-slag/qr-code/
It's now supported by the Rabobank and Knab apps.
It would be nice if we can scan and generate this kind of QR-codes.
