I have managed to get a feature working that I miss in the app, which is to get the balance of each account and to transfer that to my savings account. I use this at the end of the month to clear all my accounts before I sort my wage over these accounts.
For each account (Shortcut doesn’t provide a for each-loop, so you’ll have to repeat this for every account) I’ve put the following tasks in a shortcut:
1. Show balance
2. Calculate Balance x 1 (this to create a valid number as Siri is a stupid git and uses floating point numbers, which will give unexpected results).
3. If Result calculation is greater than 0... (This is to avoid a transfer of € 0,00, which will raise an error)
...transfer Result Calculation from account to Savings account.
...end if (there is no else if).
In my case it results in 40 tasks in the shortcut, but it sure beats the monthly hassle of transferring the 9 leftovers of my budget to my savings account, before I get paid.
The next step is to align this with the date my wage is paid, so it will be triggered in the night before I get paid. This way it won’t collide with the Sort feature in the bunq app (this shortcut will undo the sorting as it will transfer all my allocated funds to the savings account).
As my wage is being paid on the 24th, or the previous business day when the 24th is in a weekend or a holiday, and in December on the 20th, this is a project of its own, which is doable. Too bad Shortcuts won’t let you code as I would be better of with coding than with the GUI of Shortcuts.
