bug: Watch App Complication does not update

Andreas☀️ As far as I’m aware, only the Calendar complication is allowed to update real-time and constantly in the background? The others can only update once every x time when the Watch wakes, otherwise it’s discarded by the Watch?

We suffer a similar problem in a FOSS-app and decided to leverage the calendar complication instead to feed the data in to. (Far from ideal, but for the purpose of the particular (medical) app very important.)

LvH There’s a thing such as complication pushes, which can be send up to 50 times a day and are always received when the user has an active complication.

Only downside is that they seem to get stuck from time to time for some users on watchos6 :(

The update of the complication doesn't work for me either. Doesn’t matter how long I do wait. It only works if I open the app on the watch and the app has updated the account balance after a short time. I think that means that background refreshing (of the app) doesn’t work either. But it is enabled in the watch system settings.

The watch app is a joke. Please fix it bunq.
And yes I’ve un and reinstalled the app.
What use is the app if every time I try to use I first have to open the app on my iPhone? Absolutely useless.
A few minutes ago I accepted a direct debit on the watch. Thought to myself, wow it worked. WRONG!!! Few minutes later I unlocked my phone only to see an error message that the direct debit couldn’t be processed. Please fix it bunq or discontinue the app.

I have the same problem that requires me to login on my iPhone again, which doesn't resolve/reset the session on the Watch. Accepting the direct debit is actually nothing from the Watch app but just a push notification from the iPhone app.

Yes but that's a push notification of the iPhone app which is shown on your Watch but independent from the actual Watch app AFAIK.
