• Zapier connection expires

I have had the Zapier Bunq connection since it's launch a few weeks ago, but the oauth connection has already expired twice in that time. I need to reconnect it in Zapier again each time. Is this on purpose?

@Natural-Heroes-Blue-Tiger#147702 It looks like the oAuth expiry time is set to the auto-logout setting of your account. Is this maybe the case?

@Bastiaan#147711 I don’t know what this all means or what I can do about it?

@Natural-Heroes-Blue-Tiger#147824 your app is configured to automatically log out after a certain time. This time limit is also used for apps that connect to bunq via OAuth or the API. Zapier seems to use the OAuth connection, and the sessions seem to expire based on this auto logout timer. You can increase the time to reduce the occurrences of this problem. But that's also not necessarily ideal given that you might want the app to logout faster than your zapier connection. 🤔

I'm not building any "app", I'm just using Zapier to connect with my account.

What specifically can I do to increase the time? It has expired again today, and to reactivate I need to scan the QR code, select all my bank accounts I want to enable, etc. Kind of annoying.

@Natural-Heroes-Blue-Tiger#149294 „Your app“ is referring to the bunq app that you‘re using on your phone. The logout time is in the settings.

The logout time in my settings is 1 week, which is the longest option. So I cannot set it higher?

I don't get why it's set like this. It makes Zapier very frustrating to use.

@Natural-Heroes-Blue-Tiger#149341 it's limited as it also controls the time that the app on your phone stays logged in. 😉 Why it's connected to OAuth sessions I do not know to be honest.

Same here. It defeats the purpose of having the Zapier connection when you have to constantly check whether it's working. Would be really nice to have a separate setting for the logout-time of the Zapier connection (and be able to increase that to way longer than 1 week).

I think it's strange that customer support has let me know this hasn't got priority. I don't get why you would grandly introduce a new feature, for it to work for just one week at the time. What am I missing here?
