  • Bessere Darstellung des Hinzufügen-Dialogs bei Apple Pay/Watch

Heute habe ich mein erstes iPhone sowie meine erste Apple Watch mit bunq ausgestattet. Während das Hinzufügen der Karte bei Apple Pay sehr intuitiv funktioniert, bin ich bei der Watch auf ein kleines UX-Manko gestoßen.
Um die Karte der Watch hinzuzufügen, muss ich den Vorgang in der bunq-App bestätigen. Allerdings öffnet sich beim Tipp auf den entsprechenden Button bei Apple Pay nur die bunq-App, sonst passiert augenscheinlich nichts. Erst nach dem dritten Versuch bin ich auf die Idee gekommen, in den Karten-Reiter zu wechseln und plötzlich erschien der Dialog, um die Karte hinzuzufügen.

Ich würde es besser finden, wenn das entsprechende Pop-Up bereits direkt öffnet, damit zukünftige Nutzer nicht verwirrt werden.
Vielleicht können andere ja auch ihre Meinung abgeben 😊

    @Jan-Turquoise-Cheetah-2709905598#148647 if you are talking about doing this from within bunq's Apple Watch⌚-app I don't think it's possible right now as Apple still expects you to use the Apple Watch-app on iPhone to go through the flow of adding a card or through a repeat of the same process in a banks own app, like with bunq, and a quick look through Apple's developer resources, also indicates Apple does yet offer an official way or API to make possible an 'add debit- and creditcards to Apple Pay'-flow from within an Apple Watch app.

      Ich glaube, du hast mich falsch verstanden 😅 es ist ein Problem (wenn man es so nennen darf) in der iOS-App von bunq. Die Reihenfolge sieht ja vor:
      1. Karte für Apple Pay auf der Watch hinzufügen (Eingeben von CVC)
      2. Die Bestätigung über die bunq-App auslösen. (Die Freigabe über die Handynummer vernachlässige ich mal hier)
      3. In der bunq-App das Pop-Up bestätigen.
      Bei 3. bin ich auf das Problem gestoßen, dass bunq nicht automatisch den Dialog zeigt, sondern ich erst in den Karten-Reiter wechseln musste. Dies wird aber nirgendwo erwähnt.

        So to sum-up, also for the mods, to make no misunderstanding, he means that the dialog box to confirm the activation of a card for Apple Pay, does not appear in the bunq app except when you are already on the cards screen in the bunq app.

        Then so yes, I would consider that a bug or omission, the confirmation box for the Apple Pay process should appear at any giving location when browsing the app while waiting for the process of activation of cards in Apple Wallet to finish, and not just on the cards screen only.

                      @Roeshimi#148713 If you pair a Watch after adding a card to Apple Pay, you will need to unlock the card again in the Watch app. That's what I mean.

That‘s required because they are two physical different devices and card information is stored only in the Secure Enclave, never to be transmitted between devices. So going to the process twice is by design (by Apple).

                          @Jakob#148715 Yeah, but please read Dave’s second post (especially the last two paragraphs). They summarise my idea very good. I don’t have a problem with the part of the process handled by Apple but with the way you confirm the adding process to the Watch within the bunq-App (so bunq-side).
