• instant SCT with standing order

Hi, correct me if Im wrong but as far as I understand a standing order (reoccurring payments btw. monthly rent) would be instant automatically if the receiving bank has instant SCT service as well right?.... so maybe in the future if all banks have joined the instant club I will instantly receive my salary on my bunq account if the bank of my employer is one of them?

    Good question! Indeed, this will generally be the case – for instance, with bunq, if any SCT payment is sent to a participating bank, it will automatically qualify as an instant payment.⚡

    However, some banks might implement instant payments as a separate system. This means that, for incoming recurring payments, whether or not it arrives instantaneously will depend on the bank from which the payment is being sent. At the moment, recurring SCT payments from dutch banks participating in the instant payment programme (as of today) will qualify as instant payments by default.
