  • Estimated date to reach Savings Goal

Hoi!

Op dit moment heb ik een spaardoel staan. Met dat spaardoel wil ik een waanzinnig LEGO-voor-volwassenen-pakket kopen maar dat terzijde. Maar op deze spaarrekening staat de functie automatisch sparen aan. Elke dag komt mijn spaardoel steeds meer in zicht. Is het mogelijk dat het spaardoel met automatisch sparen ook een datum aangeeft waarop naar verwachting het spaardoel is bereikt? Door het automatisch sparen komt er elke dag een beetje bij dus je zou zeggen dat zoiets inzichtelijk zou moeten zijn!

        Would love that. Maybe also something like a date that you set at the beginning, saying when you want to fulfill the savings goal. Then bunq tells you how much to save daily or weekly in order to achieve set goal for that date.

            Based on the payments you make, I think the bunq app could and should be able to calculate (extrapolate) the date at which you will probably reach your goal. For instance, I am saving up for a new iPhone. I would want to know when I will reach this goal, and based on the growth of my savings goal that I made for this, the date I will reach the goal can be calculated. It can look like this:

            What's the difference with the prediction graph?

            I can see that you can argue that the prediction graph is basically the same as what I'm looking for, yet I think it's not the same. The graph doesn't go so far and if you're spendings are seen over the course of a couple months, you can still get a pretty accurate estimation, even if the date is a little further away from today's date.

            I think this feature could add a little more insight into when the goal will be reached, so that we can also anticipate on this. Let me know what you think about this!

                @TwitNour#165235 Goed idee! Dit is ook een mooie uitwerking. Wellicht dat bij de verwachte einddatum ook vermeld kan worden wat het bedrag dat nu periodiek gespaard wordt. Dit kan het gemiddelde zijn van wat er maandelijks wordt gespaard en/of wat er maandelijks gestort op de spaardoel.
                Uitwerking: "Bij van het periodiek sparen van 'bedrag X' wordt verwacht dat het spaardoel behaald wordt op: "einddatum".
