• Additional questions about bunq +1

@Marcel-Navy-Leopard#161145 as far as I know you cannot invite the same person for multiple +1s. The +1 can (as I understood) only be associated with one of your IBANs. If the +1 wants to see/manage more IBANs then Premium is required.

If you explicitly expect an answer you are better off asking in the support chat, the "bunq" user on Together is very selectively answering questions. 😉

@Marcel-Navy-Leopard#161148 Bunq doesn’t seem to care much about being used by couples for joint accounts banking management. It seems they want more people on premium memberships and to plant more trees 🙂

You need a premium membership to get the whole bunq experience. The other subscriptions and options seems like distractions.

And that premium subscription is quite expensive for people that only want some basic banking features.

Bunq is great but essentially a luxury product/service.
      Which is ok too 👍🏻

However I feel lots of people believed it’d stay affordable and are now disappointed.

        Hi @Ramtin-Cyan-Turtle#161161

You can invite multiple +1's so both your kids.

@Marcel-Navy-Leopard#161148 Get a pack with the other couple. Then it will be just like 2 joint memberships. With more accounts and more cards.

Kan mijn +1 betalen met tap&pay (android)?

@Joost-Red-Frog#161272 Apple 🍏 Pay and Google Pay are supported for the +1... so I’m pretty sure Tap & Pay is also supported since this it a payment method made by bunq themselves 👍

@SESSION-TECHNOLOGIES-S-L-Green-Wolf#161290 no, you can only share one account with one +1

@JohnDo#161285 But it doesn't say anywhere. And when I look on the site for more information, the only more information i can find is a SIGN UP NOW button

@Joost-Red-Frog#161310 best think to do is to ask support via Help.. let us know the outcome.

                      @Steffan#161303 Hi Stefan,

Why does the FAQ say: “a free bunq card of choice for €2,99 per person”? Thats not free?!

@skrtks#161366 Well, without taking a card it is still 3€, so it could be considered free.

@Willem-Olive-Kiwi#161388 I also thought this wording is a bit strange. But in this case the +1 user also has the option of not ordering a card at all, while they (for example) don't have the option of not having an IBAN. So that's where I think this comes from.

Hi, all. I have not found yet any explanation in the related posts, and date to ask it here. In case of bunq+1 account, are the joint holders considered as individual clients thus having increased DGS guarantee for two holders to €200,000 (as it is the case of joint accounts in high-street banks), or they are treated as one holder with limited to €100,000 guaranteed compensation?
                                  Thank you for clarifying!

Hi, what happens with the +1 when my child turns 18?

@Petra-Magenta-Quokka#161657 I think there will be a party and starts wil his/her driving licence 😉...

But as far as the +1 and his/her bank account nothing will change other then the +1 will be now be legally responsible instead of parents or the guardian.

I can imagine that your +1 might wants to expands their bunq experience and do more at a certain point. In that case your +1 can upgrade to Premium / Premium SuperGreen at any time (even before their 18th birthday).
