• Updating sort amount (when income is higher) does not work

My salary is automatically sorted with the 'auto sort' feature. Starting this month I would like to update the amount that is sorted, since I got a pay raise. Too bad that doesn't work. I can only change/update the sorted amounts (that flow into my sub-accounts) to a maximum total amount of my previous salary.

It looks like this is a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I had the same issue. I thought I could just delete the current sorting rule and setup a new one, but that's not possible either.

it seems you will nee to wait until the higher salary payout, and then edit it for the next time as far as I can see

        Hi Helmer,

There are two things you can do to change this:

        1. Just have the extra money from your salary added to your main account, as a remainder.
        2. Cancel the current sorting and create a new one

We'll forward your feedback to our team so they can consider it for improvements.

@bunq#159749 Eh...the first 1 is what now happens. but I want to be able to update the other amounts. And option 2 is not a real option, because that's what I already did for the last few months and i'm not deleting and creating a new sorting every time. Feels not very...ehh...like it should be!

Please make it possible to update the amount. Some people do get a raise every year (or maybe even multiple times a year :-)), so it makes sense to be able to update the numers (if the incoming amount increases).

@DaveFlash#159744 Nope you cannot. You can edit, but increase the total amount that is sorted 🥺

              Are you on android?
              On iOS everything works flawless.

              I can edit sorted payments.

I don't get it.. nothing really changes when your salary is higher just the remaining amount is higher, right?

I just tested this on iOS. Are you saying that on Android the total amount doesn't automatically increase when the amount you're assigning is higher?

@Tim#159884 Yes, I received more money and edited the sorting. That works.

It didn't work for me last week on iOS (but before this turns into a "did too/did not!" discussion), maybe I did something wrong?

@Bryan#159907 Hm, okay. What went wrong on your side?

Could also be that I remember wrong!

I am having the same issue. Also not possible to change or completely remove the sorting rules/amounts. Using iOS.

@bunq#159749 Both do not work. No solution for the problem.

                            2 years later

I have the same problem on Android now. In the past, I configured auto-sort for an amount of 1000 EUR. Now I want to auto-sort 1500 EUR. However, when I edit the Sort, the total amount/100% is still 1000 EUR so I cannot add more amounts to sort when the total goes over 1000 EUR. In the past I have had amounts larger than 1000 EUR come in on that account which were auto-sorted (including a "Remainder" that was automatically sorted). But still the maximum I can configure in auto sort is 1000 EUR.
