You've closed one of your bank accounts because you thought you didn’t need it anymore, but now you expect a transfer or refund to this account? Or you simply just change your mind and want to keep using the account. Don't worry, we got your back!
How do I reopen my closed sub-account?
If you closed the account less than 60 days ago, you can reopen the account from your archived accounts. After 60 days, the account is permanently closed and can’t be reopened anymore.
Follow the steps below to reopen your bank account:
- Open bunq app
- Go to Home tab
- Click on 🔎
- Type in Archived sub-accounts
- Click on 🔴 Archived sub-accounts
- Select the closed sub-account you want to reopen
- Click on 🟢 Reopen account
- Done!
Note: It's currently not possible to reopen Joint bank accounts.
