Did you know you can create and manage up to 25 Bank Accounts, each with a unique IBAN? This helps you organize your finances based on your needs, such as different spending categories, savings goals, or business expenses. Plus, you can personalize each sub-account for easy financial tracking ✨

How to open a Bank Account?

Opening a Bank Account is quick and easy! Just click here follow these simple steps to open a new Bank Account:

Go to Home tab
Tap on 🟣 + Add
Click on 🟢 Add a Bank Account
Select 🟠 Payment Account
Personalize your Bank Account
Choose Local Currency / Local IBAN (optional)
Done

Want to personalize your account post creation?

You can click here or follow the steps mentioned below:

Open the Home Tab
Tap on your Bank Account
Click on Settings in the top right corner
Choose Personalize Bank Account

And there you have it! All done and ready to start using your Bank Account 🚀

How many Bank Accounts are included in my plans?

25 Bank Accounts are included in Easy Bank Pro, Easy Bank Pro XL Personal and Business plans! For an additional fee, you can open more than 25 Bank Accounts. For more information on our prices, please take a look at our pricing doc 🌈

Keep in mind that Bank Accounts shared with you via Shared Access also count towards your limit.

With a Personal or Business Easy Bank plan, you can have 1 main Bank Account as explained here.

Notification badge

When you receive a notification that requires your action, you'll be notified by a notification badge on your bunq app's icon and monetary account. The number will only increase with the new events that need your further action like payment requests, information required, etc.

How to manage your Bank Accounts?

When you open the bunq app, all Bank Accounts are displayed. If you want to change the order of your Bank Accounts, this can easily be done! Tap and hold the account and swipe it to another position.

With bunq Update 20 we introduced an Update for the Home tab and now you can create folders with your Bank Accounts. See more here

How to open a Bank Account with bunq Web?

Go to https://web.bunq.com
Click on + Add Bank Account
Select Budget easily

Want to share your account?

Decided to share your account with a friend or family member? A Bank Account can be shared via Connect.

Want to hide your Bank Account?

You can hide your Home tab tiles by following these easy steps:

Go to Home
Long-press on the Bank Account
Select Visibility
Click Hide This Tile

You changed your mind and want to see the tile again? Simply follow these steps:

Go to Home
Long-press on any Bank Account
Select Visibility
Click ... Manage
Select the tiles you want to see again

How do I top-up my Bank Account?

Before making a payment, you should top-up your balance. There are lots of ways to do this. Follow this link to find out more here.

How do I transfer money between my Bank Accounts?

To make a payment between your Bank Accounts, just follow the steps below:

Go to the Home Tab and tap on Pay
Choose the amount
Click on Choose Recipient and select My Accounts
Select your other Bank Account
Check the details and confirm with Send Payment
