Today in the news: Rabobank and ABN AMRO bank introduce Garmin Pay
https://www.telegraaf.nl/financieel/2739170/rabobank-en-abn-amro-lanceren-garmin-pay
I hope Bubq will follow soon with Garmin and Fitbit Pay!
Are there any updates on this wish?
@Leendert-Aquamarine-Bear#40226 I have Garmin Pay installed in combination with my MasterCard (ICS). I'd love bunq to support my Garmin watch as well.
Is there any update on implementing this for bunq?
@Leander-Red-Penguin#51417 Nope.. bunq doesn't give updates on ongoing work. We have to wait. And when it's there bunq will announce it. 😉
Bunq only supports Apple Smartwatches. No Android / Google devices. So also no Garmin or Fitbit or anything else
+1 for Fitbit & Garmin Pay.
+1 from me. Sent while looking at my Fitbit Versa with Fitbit Pay
+1 Fitbit plz
+1 Fitbit Pay
@BBiker#51425 I think Bunq a bank of the free doesn't do "only" certain things.
As far as I know Bunq listen to the customers and try to find a way to integrate it if there is a lot of interest.
@Leendert-Aquamarine-Bear#55471 yes that's true, however I do believe the amount of user that have nfc-eneabled garmin/fitbit devices vs apple's is so low, that for bunq it isn't worth the effort to offer this, though if they do extent wallet-based payment services I'd much sooner see bunq offering google pay and samsung pay than fitbit or garmin.
@DaveFlash#55586 There is definitely potential in countries like Germany where only two banks are supported by Fitbit Pay, of which one is so regional that I was surprised it was on the list at all.
I could imagine the addition of bunq leading to a noticeable increase of users. I certainly would have found out about bunq much sooner
ABN AMRO website writes : Fitbit Pay is soon available.
So Fitbit is busy with Dutch banks.
I think bunq will only support Fitbit Pay and other systems after Apple Pay is directly available for Dutch users. Because most other systems are to much a nice market product.
+1 for fitbit pay!
Sources close to Fitbit told me that Fitbit Pay is most likely to come soon after Apple Pay, so if that is true and the ABN AMRO website is right, it would mean Apple Pay isn't far for the Netherlands as well 🎉
@Peter-Danger-Mouse#56601 Probably the same sources that foretold the start in Germany for about two years...
