V3 geĆÆnstalleerd en āVoor mijā ziet er in de eerste instantie leuk uit, maar de knoppen bevatten te weinig informatie.
Het gebruikte lettertype is te groot waardoor en te weinig informatie in elke knop staat. Tevens ziet elke knop er hetzelfde uit waardoor er geen onderscheid is tussen alle knoppen.
Ik snap niet waarom er een āVan onsā tab is. Het voegt niks toe en kost wel 25% van de app ruimte. Op de plaats waar nu āVan onsā staat zouden all transacties moeten staan, want die zijn op dit moment in V3 nergens zichtbaar.
Verder worden er de hele tijd dingen getoond die niet binnen mijn abonnement vallen. Dat kan natuurlijk niet de bedoeling zijn.
Het tegel ontwerp gaat zeker wel wennen, maar de vormgeving van de tegels moet duidelijker/meer onderscheid.
Thereās no clear info on who did a payment on Joint-Accounts.

Thank you for the new update V3. Since two years I am a customer of bunq, paying every month 16 Euros to get a good bank-service. Because Bunq is an online-bank, the associated App is the main thing for you and your customers. I use it many times, every day.
Unfortunately, the new version is not suitable for me anymore. The UI is confusing and for me, as paying customer, obsolete. I would be really great & nice of you, If you could provide me with a functional banking-app once again in the future, because, as I said before, I am paying for it.

Lovely how the total amount of all accounts is incorrect. Thatās basic stuff folks. It completely destroys my confidence in the service.

Dear all, after updating to v3 I wish I would have had the chance to test it in beta before or read the comments here before updating to v3. Sorry guys, I always had the opinion bunq is the future - the v3 update changed my point of view! Please remove the Instagram stream! A main tab in application for social stream in a banking app?! This is the last thing I want to have in a very private place - like a banking app. There are several bugs still present, like created online credit cards are no longer visible. I really would like to downgrade to v2 - and I really think about to restore a full iOS backup in order to go back to v2. From now on, I will first read all the comments before updating to a version.

Wat ik wederom teleurstellend vind is dat er energie wordt gestoken in nieuwe dingen, maar de bekende problemen niet opgelost worden. Ook in V3 bestaat het logo probleem. Gemiste kans.

Just installed V3... frankly when coming from V2 the UI/UX is a nightmare.
I made bunq my main account in order to keep an overview of my money, now you released an app that has the opposite effect.
Also, I already am a paying customer, I couldnāt care less about your instagram feed or dodgy number such as ātwo months time saved through bunqā... would be nice if future updates would focus again on the banking features of the app
Today I have finally been able to use V3 on my own account, instead of having to secretly play on my girlfriend's phone ;). After playing around with it for some time, I have got some thoughts and feedback. Now, I know Iām not always the most easily satisfied bunqer, but I will try and keep things constructive and positive :).
First things first, I must say I really the approach bunq took in preparing for the public launch of V3. A pre-launch session with a select group of users, a public beta, and then a roll-out. I think some improvements in terms of handling and processing feedback are needed, but itās a positive thing that users got involved in this way!
So, about the appās design...
Me
The āMeā tab brings a nice change in my opinion. I like how the accounts are spread over 2 columns, allowing me to see way more accounts in one overview!
Iām somewhat less keen on the content of the 3 circles at the top (money saved, trees planted and time saved): I donāt feel this information is very relevant for me to have at the top of my overview. In addition, I feel the numbers donāt really make much sense (I saved 5 months by opening accounts?). I think it would be really cool if I could set these circles as menu buttons for my ācardsā and āall eventsā instead!
Us
One thing I love about bunq is its community and I can really understand bunqās decision to increase the focus on this. The initial screen of the āUsā tab doesnāt really appeal so much to me, as Iām not much of an Instagram person. I do like the implementation of āTogetherā under the ā+ā button and think that maybe the initial screen could be more designed to show off Together!
Profile
I must say that I find the insights (pie chart) really cool and I think it deserves a prominent part in the app. However, Iām not sure if that place should be in the āProfileā, where you expect to find your personal information and settings. Personally, I would have split the contents of this tab up in 2 different tabs: āInsightsā and āProfileā.
General
One thing I really liked about V2 was the menu. The menu was clear and concise and you knew exactly where you had to go. In V3, I do think the menu is quite clean, but āMeā and āUsā are a little vague. I would probably have gone with āOverviewā and āCommunityā or something along these lines. This is a minor thing though. Oh, and I would switch the profile and scan tab around :$.
Another large change I noticed is the new ā+ā button. Although it still takes some getting used to, I actually think itās a good solution to keep the app feature-packed and clean at the same time!
I think the 3 circles at the top of each tab are a cool idea! However, I feel the contents of these circles are not all that meaningful to me: as said earlier; the money/time saved donāt really seem right to me. The money invested, money donated, total numbers of tree planted, profile completion and profile badges are all things that arenāt as important as other information that is shown on the page. My suggestion would be that these circles could either be toggled on/off, or that the user could customize the contents of them.
Now there is one thing that I find myself to struggle with in the new bunq app: which is the marketing that seems to be all around the app. In pretty much all the tabs and under every button, I notice that it talks about how much time I save, treeās I plant, money I save, how beautiful the card is and how easy the app is to use (even the title of this topic:' the amazing v3'). I feel bunq genuinely does not need to do this. Your customers are generally impressed with how easy youāve made banking, but itās not needed to keep reminding us of all these benefits we have. We are aware ;).
So thereās that. In the years I have been with bunq, I have always greatly appreciated the amazing features the bunq app has to offer. With V3 all of these amazing features are still in place, but with a new look. Overall I think the V3 is still a work in progress, but I actually am confident that bunq will find the right balance and content for each part of the app.

I like the better use of space for the accounts although I had to rename some that were too long and change one who's colour I'd chosen was black. That colour is no longer available.
Intensely dislike the Main page using all that space for gamification. I don't care how much time or how many trees I plant. Not on that screen anyway. If it was in my Profile, fair enough but not in the main window,
Replace the Saved icons on the main window with a toggle to hide account Balance.
I lost all but the initial Virtual cards I had and the one that is left is named "Online Cards". Go figure. I can delete them all and start again but I seem to remember I have a limited number I can create/delete each year.
Could we replace the 3 dots in the "CVC Code" with the time left for a new CVC? I would find it useful when encoding the information to know when the CVC is about to expire.
On the plus side you make better use of the screen realestate (except for the "saved time/trees/..."
To be honest I am came to Bunq after Revolut trashed their latest update and I am wondering if Bunq isn't following the same path.
I love the features but hate the gamification. I want to be able to disable the fluff and keep the great features. I don't care that you saved me X months of time, nor that my profile is almost complete. I do care a lot about your banking features. So much so that I am willing to pay a monthly fee for them. I am just tiered of seeing updates that don't bring much other than a redesign for the sake of it.
Oh and I just saw the content of the "Us" tab. This is seriously wrong. Wrong to the point where I might not become a customer by the end of my trial period. Social media, seriously. Shouldn't that be kept on instagram or at worst on your website?!?
