Besides the general feeling expressed above that V3 is confusing. It took me quite some time to even get here...

  • how to change which account add up to the total?
  • ditto for the monthly total
  • if you scroll in the monthly total the circle gets smaller to make space for the list, could you do the same with the three symbols above?

    v2 was the best banking app in The Netherlands. I had high hopes for v3, but good lord! What have you done? A whole tab dedicated to your instagram feed? This looks like a high school project / demo.

    Here's some initial feedback:
    1) Light mode / Dark Mode: everything is dark with very little contrast, there is basically no option for colour customisation of your accounts, so the app just looks empty and drab.
    2) The circles in the "Me" Tab: the numbers don't even fit inside the circles, what the heck is with that? It looks messy.
    3) You can't remove a savings goal once you've added one
    4) Support center is needlessly hard to find. Why is it under the profile tab? I would expect it to be under "Us", since it's contacting Bunq, not my profile settings.
    5) There's so much wasted space in the "Me" screen, you couldn't have just had the scan button in that screen? Literally half of the main screen is empty. At least let me pick a layout rather than this drab coloured tile where I can barely make out what the icon is.
    6) The cards screen - W T F is going on here?! I no longer need to authenticate to see my CVC codes, again, the numbers in english with "EUR" prefixed do not even fit in the tiny circles. Why not replace "Us" with "Cards"?
    7) Overall the app feels tiny. It's small. There's no focal points to draw your eyes in, it just looks horrible.
    8) There's so little sense of place or direction. Where am I in the app? So many screens pop over and take up the whole screen, but you lose the context of where you are. Some kind of navigation is required, or at least layering so I can tell where I came from and how many steps I need to take to go back. Did anyone actually use this and test it?

    I'm sure all the features are there, but the UX here is not worth 8x the monthly cost of another bank.

    I sincerely hope you work this out, because now I feel like I'm not a customer of a bank, I feel like I'm in a cult or some kind of weird fanclub. What kind of bank has an entire tab in the most important real estate in their app dedicated to blog posts showing how the bank is growing despite a pandemic? I don't want to see this when I check my bank balance.

    This update is a dumpster fire. You were in public beta for like 5 days and it shows. Yet all you post about is the "amazing" v3, yet clearly it is anything but amazing. You're ignoring your customers, and as a result, you're gonna lose them. I certainly won't be paying that amount of money to use an app that looks like it was drawn by a 3 year old child going through a minimalist phase.

      I've been with bunq since the beginning, when it was invite-only. Definitely had good times and advocated bunq to family, friends & colleagues, but I can't do that any longer.

      Why are there 'ads' for things like travel cards and premium accounts under the (way too big) + button when I already have a travel card and am part of a bunq premium pack?

      Why is there a tree/CO2 overview when I don't have the "ultra package" with the shiny card? It will always remain 0. You're a bank, not Greenpeace.

      Where are the buttons to block cards when they get lost/stolen?

      Why is there a button that shows how much "time I saved"? I don't care, that time can be considered as sunk costs.

      And I can go on, but I don't feel like it would matter as there's no communication whatsoever.

        Dit is gewoon niet werkbaar jongens. Ik ben alle connected accounts die ik en mijn vrouw delen kwijt in het overzicht. Mijn zakelijke rekening was onvindbaar (profiel wisselen door een long-press? Dat moet je ook maar nét weten). Kleurenschema is dramatisch.

        Rol in godsnaam terug naar de oude layout. Ik kan niet eens vinden hoe ik een betaling verstuur. En dat is nu primair waar we BUNQ voor gebruiken, geld betalen en ontvangen.

        Bizarre keuze om dit te releasen, bizar.

          10 minutes after i installed v3 i deleted it and returned to v2.
          I find the complete design not better and not easier. In my opinion it‘s awful.
          You should return to the drawing board because as far as i can see there are way too much paying customers that are quite annoyed by v3.

            Wauw gewoon, echt wauw. <insert repeat of 99% of the replies so far>
            Leuke UI, superduperslechte UX.

              I will add just one thing, if this stays and is not VASTLY improved I will probably go back to my previous bank because this is not worth the money and their boring banking app is superior to this V3 marketing bullshit. I am 100% serious, this is not worth the money if I have to work with this GUI.

                    @Martinus-Blue-Llama#172573 Ter aanvulling: Ben een Bunqer van het allereerste uur. Doe inmiddels al mijn privé- en bedrijfsbankzaken via Bunq. Ik wil echt niet weg bij jullie. En ik wil van de daken kunnen blijven roepen dat Bunq de bom is. Willen jullie alsjeblieft goed kijken naar de top 5 feedback van alle gebruikers? Ik denk dat het te overzien en op te lossen is in de komende weken. Alvast veel dank voor jullie open mind. En succes!

                      I’m a product designer and hate putting down other designers work, but... this is just not good. I feel like I need to start apologising to the people I convinced to sign up to Bunq. It felt like a really user focused app before. Now it feels like it was rushed to promote some things I don’t care about.

                        My 2 cents for V3... I think you should at least make the US tab, the saved time and trees planted OPTIONAL to normal premium users..

                            Ook ik wil V2 terug en vooral mijn icons. Hier had ik een topic voor gemaakt, maar die is gesloten omdat alle V3 kritiek in dit topic toegevoegd moet worden.

                            Bunq, luister naar je klanten en geef (de mogelijkheden van) V2 terug!

                              Erg teleurgesteld in deze update, Bunq was voor mij altijd de bank van de toekomst waarbij de hele experience perfect was, dat is nu zeker niet het geval. 😕 het lijkt alsof jullie niks te doen hadden en je klanten proberen te pesten door alles op de minst logische locatie neer te zetten. En gewoon kleine dingetje zoals plaatjes bij je passen die nu weg zijn... why?

                                Waar kan ik zien hoe mijn betaling verdeeld wordt? Als ik deze wil wijzigen moet ik nu eerst naar desbetreffende rekening en dan scrollen tot ik de betaling zie.

                                Ik vind de grote plusknop storend op ieder scherm

                                Ik kan niet meer kiezen welke rekeningen ik mee wil tellen in het totaalbedrag. Ik wil sommige rekeningen wel weergeven maar niet mee laten tellen

                                  Ik ben mijn zakelijke account kwijt, ik had drie profielen en nu nog maar twee. Waar o waar is ie gebleven?

                                    Vanuit deze twee velden is de support niet te bereiken... was bij de vorige versies ook zo.

                                      Bunq, PLEASE listen to you customers and at least give us the option to use V2 for now, while you iron out the issues in V3. A banking app has to be the most reliable and functional app on my phone. I can’t say that of the new V3 app.

                                        Please make v2 available again.

                                        • I already chose bunq as my bank. You don't need to convince me with unfounded metrics like money and time saved.
                                        • I don't use the trees thing, so why do I have to see it? Bunq is my banking app, I use different apps to contribute to the environment
                                        • What's the big + doing on the home page? This design element is usually used to quickly get to often-used actions. The one in the bunq app just shows me helpdesk stuff. I can't even use it to do a transaction. (Which is why I use my BANKING app)
                                        • Speaking of the + sign, why are there features advertised that I already use? (I have premium, yet the first entry is trying to convince me to get premium.)
                                        • Why are you removing features? Where is dual pin? Where are my account images? Why is total no longer blurred by default?
                                        • Why are accounts shared with me on a seperate line? I want the account my wife shared with me sorted between my own accounts.
                                        • Please remove the blog from the prominent place it has and add something useful there.
                                        • Why is the support center so hard to find? This gives me the experience you don't care about your customers.
                                        • v3 is much slower than v2
                                        • How do I even make a new bank account? THIS is something I'd expect under the +

                                        If this is not resolved I'm gonna move to another bank.
