Welp. Third time’s a charm I guess? I posted a separate topic about this which got shut down. They referred me to the V3 questions post. I posted the text below there and was told that feed was for questions only and got referred to this one.

DO NOT USE THE WORD TRIBE!

The use of the word is whitewashing and cultural appropriation.

Tribe is very specifically used to refer to indigenous groups of people, many of whom have been forced off their lands, subjected to genocide, and pressured to assimilate into the cultures of colonizing powers in the US and around the world. To use “tribe” without any cultural or familial relationship to this history of indigenous peoples is another, though perhaps less obvious, form of cultural appropriation.

Without repeating what most people said, just want to emphasize on the fact that it’s not intuitive at all. I’m a bunq fanboy and I’m easily excited by every single update, but now I can’t really find something to be excited about.

What I like: the new app looks really nice.

What I don’t like: the issue with the online cards looks like a disaster right now. As it appears right now, two of my cards are completely gone, at least one of which had a ton of subscription payments attached to it. So I guess I can look forward to a lot of failed payments soon??

Also, both for the insights area as well as the total amount, the option to select and deselect included accounts needs to return. I can honestly not understand how anyone could think that feature from V2 would be superfluous.

As I said, it looks good. But there is a ton of work and bug-fixing still to be done until it is as usable as V2 was. Especially that online cards issue. Absolute no-go to play fast and loose with that. @bunq, fix ASAP please.

Robert Luckily I have an iPad that still has V2. The cards are still there, also pointing to the correct account. Let’s hope this is just a visual bug and the cards appear in V3 again soon.

My company and private profiles/account are now merged which is something I do not want. What is worse is the fact that I have now lost access to one of my business accounts. This update is a mess. Is there anyway to revert back to the previous version??

I did love V2. It was the first banking app that made sense to me and even though it isn’t cheap I was happy. I thought I get my money‘s worth. I want to love V3 as well, I really do. But I can’t.
V3 is not intuitive in my opinion (many people have mentioned it already), tiny but very useful info gone (who paid what, what was deducted from what account, overview of all accounts and planned payments by account), accounts displayed as tiles are a step back from the list in my opinion, some things just aren’t where you expect them (like bunq.me).
The big Plus doesn’t behave in a consistent way. You just tap it and hope to find stuff.
Also, most of the stuff in the Us section is not useful to me at all. That wouldn’t be so bad if it didn’t take away space for information I want and need every day.
Again, I’m sorry. I can’t love this app and I can’t recommend it to my friends any more.

John Do Thank you! That’s a relief at least. Maybe a prominent info regarding that would be beneficial, as I have already seen some people starting to create new cards only to replace „lost“ cards.

Optisch nicht mehr so ansprechend, unübersichtlich, zu viele nutzlose Dinge.

Wat een ontzettend slechte update, waarom? De UX is alles behalve intuïtief en ik hoef echt niet te zien hoeveel tijd en geld ik bespaar met het geweldige bunq. Volgens mij slaan jullie door, het zou jullie sieren wat bescheidenheid aan te nemen. Zeker na zo’n update waar de plank enorm misgeslagen wordt. Dit is gewoon niet af.

Funny, the dual pin option still exists, but only for your online card (singular, because V3 only shows one online card). Online cards don’t even have a pin. Has this update been tested at all?

Without getting into details about the design of the new app, I simply cannot understand how a bank can release an unfinished app to the public. As much as I like new stuff, when it comes to money, nothing is more important than being able to rely on access and functionality.

De app is er niet beter op geworden. De Instagram feed is totaal niet interessant en ook de camera tab is onderin overbodig. Ik wou dat ik de app had kunnen testen, nu kan ik niet meer terug

Ik schrik heel erg van deze nieuwe app. Alles is overhoo- gegooid, simpele dingen kosten veel meer taps en wat heb ik aan een Instagram feed? Ugh. Is dit wel met gebruikers getest?

The iPad version has so much wasted empty space. The community forums are restricted to a tiny pop up and hard to find. The plus button is a mess with so many different options depending on what screen you are on. Too many options are hard to find now. This app needs more work. Honestly, the old UI was better.
