Let me start: I've been following bunq since the almost beginning and have been using it for a long time now. Both personally, and for my company. I tried to get many people to bunq and loved the features it gave. Heck, I even applied for a job at bunq. Unfortunately though, with the recent changes and way of handeling things - I'm really considering changing back to my previous bank.
But, for the time being: before I make a definitive decision, I want to keep using bunq. Because of that, I've downgraded my app to V2. I was hopeful when upgrading, but the (nightmares?) from the feedback thread are unfortunately the same for me.
This is how you can downgrade your app to V2 on Android:
- Remove the app.
- Download the APK (https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/bunq/bunq-bank-of-the-free/bunq-bank-of-the-free-13-15-2-release/bunq-bank-of-the-free-13-15-2-2-android-apk-download/).
- Download APKMirror's bundle installer (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apkmirror.helper.prod).
- Install the APK downloaded using the link above.
- Disable auto-update in the Play Store for the bunq app.
- Profit.
There is a disclaimer, though. This is ofcourse an unofficial APK download of a bank app (!). I wouldn't recommend it, if I haven't had so much issues with the bunq V3 release.
