Wow guys, great to see so much feedback! 😄
I'll mark this topic as an idea so people will be able to find this topic even easier.
Let's high five away and the feature might appear back in the iOS app. 🙏

This feature has to come back. I really liked this feature. Until it is back i will also use tikki for my requests.
What I don’t understand is why the feature was only removed in iOS? Android users still seem to have this option. Why? Shouldn’t we all have the same product no matter what operating system we are using? Doesn’t make any sense to remove a feature for iOS only.
Please bring back the requests feature. Make it better instead of removing (or is it on purpose to launch later an even better ask money feature ;) )
Please get the old request back. It’s a shame that Bunq removed it 😪
Bunq.me is not working properly if you want to request a fixed amout and you can’t fill in a discription.
Is het misschien mogelijk dat iemand van bunq support ons duidelijk uitlegt waarom deze functie verwijderd is?
Irritant die updat kan niet via wapp delen pff fix dir hoor
Trying to push everyone of us into using the new bunq.me just because you want to regain popularity over Tikkie is not gonna work this way. Bunq.me is good enough to create a link where you might freely drop in some money now. For specific requests we need another link.
Maybe after filling in the amount and note the app could create a bunq.me-like address which has detailed payment information when sending it? The freedom to choose whatsapp, Mail, sms, signal or whatever is exact what I defined as the bunq feeling. And it’s gone...
bunq.me is a tikkie different not a tikkie better. In the past I could see open requests in my overview and create requests for different accounts, and create different descriptions. I can still do this via the request button, but not via a shareable link. Please bring back the requests. I did found a workaround: use Tikkie. 😂
@Jorik-Grey-Kiwi#24809 Same for me. Bring it back please
Because we had another user who requested the same, lets push this topic back to the top and get the high-fives started! 👏
I am now totally frustrated. What was wrong with the old request future? I hate tikkie, please don't try to copy it...
I want to send an request with a specific amount, a description, for a specific iban (incoming) and share it through WhatsApp. With bunq.me only the sharing through WhatsApp is possible. With the updated request feature the possibility to share to WhatsApp is gone. Also the workaround through your own e-mail is gone, because it just creates a request in the bunq app...
I tried to create a bunq.me link, as an alternative (although it doesn't fit my needs). I probably created a link before because it says my email address is already in use... But I don't know what my old link was and see no way to recover it.
Happy to still have Rabobank as a back-up, they have copied the request function but did a relatively okay job... In the past bunq has been unreliable and they proof to still be.
@Jan-Purple-Lion-3796003763#25565 Your e-mail is already in use because you are a bunq user. Have you tried to make a link in the app?
@Jan-Purple-Lion-3796003763#25565 Hi!
As a bunq user you can create or change your personal bunq.me link in the bunq app, via your profile.
Have a nice day,
Bastiaan
It would make life a lot easier if this functionality would just come back. I use this a lot for my clients and it is not really practical to ask a client to fill in the amount for themselves after you already told them how much it’s gonna cost. This is a huge downgrade of what is in my opinion one of the most used features of the bunq app.
@Jan-Purple-Lion-3796003763#25565 I really hope this feature returns sooner than later.
You raise a valid point: reliability. I went all in with bunq a couple of months ago after the debacle with the 800% price increase. I kinda hoped/expected they would have learned from that. Especially on the communication front. Unfortunately it appears not much has been changed since then. Why wasn’t this mentioned In the changelogs? Where is an official bunq statement on this matter?
You can’t do this when people pay 100 euros/year for your service.
Also, in private matters I was told this feature was removed to clean up the app, but I honestly cannot believe that. To me it looks like a way to force people into using bunq.me and lure in new subscribers. This is not the way to go.
Go bunq, bring it back!
So many people are asking for this functionality to come back. I think it’s only a matter of time before we see ‘advanced requests’ back in the app.
Totally agree. Why deleting the function that makes it easier to get your money back? Just let me fill in the amount
