Sharing requests via Whatsapp is not possible anymore

Hi, a shame this feature is gone. Bunq.me was already for bunq users so not a spectacular feature for premium bunqers in my opinion. And it is a kind of rip off from paypal. So please give back generate request link 😀

Arnim Did you update to the latest version? Support told me the feature is gone. Of course you could just request it to a secondary email adress of your own and then copy the link but this is not the way it’s supposed to work I guess that’s what you did otherwise I don’t see a way how this is possible as of right now. I have iOS and android on neither of those systems you can push the request button and create instantly without further doing a link to share.

Heda I click Request, fill in the amount, choose Meerdere ontvangers, didn't select any contact.. just clicked Volgende and the Copy/Share button is there.

Arnim Sorry didn’t read your post properly seems missed that lol. But still like I said the support told me the feature is canceled and neither on my iPhone se nor on my galaxy j7 I can create those links anymore. Of course as mentioned before you can work around this by sending a request to yourself and then share that link but this is not bunq that’s bank then lol.

Heda I just updated bunq on my tablet and the Share link option is also available there.

I was using this fuction a lot. Now this is not possible anymore.

Before I used it like: Request payment -> enter amount -> add comment (so I know what the payment is for) -> generate link -> send it via Whatsapp.

Especially adding a comment to a request was really handy. I don’t see how I can do this right now...

In the last stap (before clicking send / request) you can click on "Show more options". If you click this the description field will show up.

Why not use https://bunq.me/username/?amount=50 and share that within whatsapp or whatever?

Like Arnim said, the workaround to get the old share feature back is as follows:

Create request -> multiple persons -> don't select anyone, just click next -> old share button appears!

I have to say that I never use this function but agree that this is quite essential. I understand that the bunq.me feature can be used but having to manually add an amount to the link is inconvenient.

When I create a share request I would like to pick the sharing method myself instead of being forced to use sms. iOS has a share sheet where I can pick how I want to share something.

I have a feeling that the app becomes less native to the platform it’s being used on.
