So after some getting used to the update I still like v2 a lot more because it was faster to get things done.
I think the main problem with v3 is that it’s release was too early and there were and still are a lot of bugs/ missing features. This isn’t a smart move for a bank.
I will try to give you a list of everything that keeps me from getting to love the new design. These aren’t major things but they impact day to day use quite a lot.
Using the overview of all transactions i can’t see what account was used for a payment. It only shows the card but that could have been connected to a different account the time the purchase was made
I don’t think the information on a payment screen should be hidden by default except for the date the payment was made. Theres more than enough unused space and the date ist already known because i must have clicked on the payment before.
My online cards have different colours and are not distinguishable from the regular cards. Perhaps you could divide them in two groups ?
Add a bit more information to the card tiles. Perhaps add the icon from the connected bank account and change toe color to the same one as the connected account.
Users should be able to hide the three counters on the main page. Saved money and especially time adds nothing to my user experience and those two values are not more than a marketing gag. I saved 2 months according to the app - i don’t think so. The tree counter does make sense but only if you’re a supergreen member. Otherwise it’s simply an ad to upgrade and i don’t like that i get ads with my Premium subscription.
Marketing Texts shouldn’t be there for customers when opening a new account or a shared account etc. When you’re a travel card member I do see the point but change those to just „Create a new Account“ when the user is already a premium member. Makes ist easier to read and find what you want fast. Again - I don’t like advertising with my Premium subscription.
I don’t like the lack of customisation with my accounts. I do understand that custom images don’t really fit the new design language but please either give us more icons to choose from or let us use emojis as account icons. We have 25 Accounts included with Premium but only 16 icons to choose from.
I think you should have informed your users that the cvc of all the online cards changed after upgrading to v3.
Implement a „tutorial“ for new and upgrading users (where to find what. e.g. change your account)
On the iPad i don’t like to have those floating windows for nearly everything. Especially in together it happened to me that i accidentally touched the screen next to it and therefore closed the window and lost the position i was reading. Same goes with the accounts. The sidebar view of v2 was much more efficient on a larger screen and should be implemented in v3 as well.
On the iPad the instagram feed doesn’t look good. The images are somehow stretched and look odd.
