• Exploring the amazing bunq V3? Let us know how we can make it even better! (2)

I actually quite like the new design. Especially that actions are now positioned at the bottom instead of the top of the app, so it's easier to reach with your finger.

Although there's some things which really bother me with the new app:

  1. Although intuitive once discovered, switching accounts is extremely hard to figure out. Nothing in the app informed me that I need to hold the profile button to switch accounts.

  2. The Us tab.. I'd really like a setting where I'd be able to hide this.

  3. The statistics on top of my banking overview. I'd love to be able to customize/switch what these numbers say. It makes sense for that space to be filled from a UX perspective, although the current statistics for me are not useful and irrelevant to my banking experience.

  4. The + button. In some way, I think it's handy to have this button at the botton, though it's a bit big and invasive. What does really bother me though is the screen that follows afterwards:
Every button comes with a whole sentence dedicated to marketing. This forces me to read though the list as my brain can't rapidly comprehend what's in the list. The text needs to be short and concise for maximum usability & readability. This is well implemented in the bank account view, though the Explore/main view is a bit questionable.

All in all, I wish you guys the best integrating customer feedback and extinguishing the fires this update caused.

@tintinhamans#174228 The new sign-up process is different now to make it easier. When new users start a new account now, it is only an e-money account, not a bank account. It is limited a bit in functionality but it makes it faster to start with bunq because you don't need to get through all the verification and you can use some features like Slice Groups (I think). Only when you want to use more features the app will then ask for more verification. Ali explained this a bit in the Update 14 stream which you can watch on YouTube or on the bunq website.

Edit: Also check the new terms of service https://www.bunq.com/terms-personal there is a bit more in-depth information on the new sign-up process.

@Blackwater#174257 Exactly. The goodwill they could gain by saying “look we made a mistake and are rolling back to V2”. However pushing forward with V3 as it is tells me all I need to know about Bunq as a bank. The feedback has been almost completely negative across all threads since the release. How can they sleep at night knowing they released a turd on the public called V3. Please roll back bunq.

Im a long time bunq User and I honestly think that Update v3 was published a little too early and that the new design shouldn’t have been forced onto users.
For example, why is it not possible anymore how to clearly see what is an online card? Or why do i have to click EVERY time I log in to my bunq business account that I DONT WANT TO merge it with my personal account. Why did it take me 3 minutes to find out how to freeze my current physical card and then not being able to freeze my online cards anymore? (If you can still do so, please tell me where, I simply can’t find it.)
I am quite unhappy with bunq at the moment due to this update. I mean, I love this app, bunq is the best app on market and I’m okay with paying for super green, but right now, I’m really unhappy with the situation.
Obviously not everything will be reverted, because it’s an update presented at a major bunq keynote, but please update / revert some of the changes, bunq was 100% fine to me the way it was before. Sometimes too much minimalism hurts.

@Simon-Grey-Leopard#174273 Me too. I’m waiting to see how bunq fix this one. Otherwise im gone from bunq as a premium customer.

Congratulations Bunq you win the award for worst mobile banking interface of 2020.

              Waardeloze update. Alsjeblieft terugdraaien!

Well this version is quite bad UI/UX wise I am personally not happy with that. Especially after a long time of usage and spreading the word about BUNQ being great. Please fix these issues quickly. Thanks

I would like to suggest new captions for the photos in the “Us” tab...

@Tristan-Grey-Tiger#173047 Have to agree with this. Absolutely awful, and quite frankly - another nail in the coffin as to why I am seriously considering leaving Bunq

Why, in a banking app, are so many non-banking things being forced on us. Making banking front and centre, and easy. Those who want to know about trees, can go and look for them.

The old adage of I can’t see the wood for the trees springs to mind here - and it would appear that’s all Bunq is interested in

Are you a bank, or a garden centre. Let’s be honest, banking is about money. So how about making it easy for us to manage that, instead of hiding that?

@Tristan-Grey-Tiger#173047 You’ve absolutely nailed it Tristan.
