• Exploring the amazing bunq V3? Let us know how we can make it even better! (2)

@Bart-Violet-Penguin#175335 I can't switch to my Business Account anymore

Have you tried long-pressing the Profile tab? (Button row, 3rd icon.)

    @JohnDo#174797

1 . While I understand you want the long hours and hard work to not go unnoticed in the sea of hate v3 is receiving, it is also important to take a step back. Long hours and lot's of work are meaningless, the result is what counts. No one appreciates running in the wrong direction - the result, not the effort counts.
    2. While agree that the discussion must be respectful, I would say that for a large part it has been. Don't mistake negative voices with unconstructive criticism.
    3. I understand you asked your wife, probably while you sat next to her, to find something in the new app. I would argue this isn't how you do UX Feedback, as the bias is clearly there. I have three friends that use bunq, all of them hate it. That's not a large enough sample size either, but my point is: extrapolating doesn't work either way. The thousands of posts here on the forum however, are a sample to consider. Especially since (and im sure some number crunching would support this) there have been lots of new signups on the forums just to make this point. That's the normally quiet majority being vocal about an issue.
    4. You make the point the app is "a diamond in the rough". I'd disagree. This isn't something that can be polished, each and every design choice needs to be questioned. On a side note: it takes about a billion years to form a diamond from a tree. I don't have that kind of time.
    5. You state that "with app development, you never start with a 100% version, you always wanna deliver fast". Well yes, but actually no, that's precisely not what BUNQ did. They turned Windows XP to Vista. They created a monolithic release instead of continuously delivering the app. Maybe from now they'll know why.

@Tristan-Grey-Tiger#173047 wow! I wanted to give my feedback to the new design/UI but your post is so comprehensive - I can' t add to that. I completely agree! Get rid of the three's is my favorite. Bunq is my IT solution for bank transactions. Not a bank nor a forest.

@wesselt#175339 Yes, this did the trick, thanks! I complete missed this UX trick

              Hi bunq.

I joined you because you seemed to have a focus on good technology and a great app. And it has been great the few months since I decided to go all in and switch over to bunq as my primary bank account.

But this last update... what happened? It feels like it was designed by the marketing department. It's a confused mess and hides so much behind other screens and that weird floating button :(

              Some specific points:

The Me tab: Don't really care about those badges on top. Definitely don't want to see it as the primary thing on the first screen, perhaps they should be on the profile screen? And its just bs anyway, because you cost me a lot more than I 'saved' by switching.
Something like you balances and recent events for instance would be much more appropriate here. I feel this is really the biggest loss in this version: A proper dashboard/home screen. And the + button here is just spam tbh. Nothing functional there.

The Us tab: I don't think this belongs in the app. Just keep it on you social media please so I can choose to ignore it đŸ€ If you insist having it in the app, put it somewhere appropriate. I don't feel this deserves or need to be the second thing in the menu.

The Profile screen: I'm not a big fan of the whole gamification you're doing, but that's fine. However keeping the badges on top is not very user friendly with regards to looking at you spending profile. Perhaps these could just scroll up too?

This whole update feels like exactly the kind of thing I am trying to avoid with bunq tbh. I hope the future is brighter. Because I feel ripped off tbh.

              Cheers, Arthur

Hi team-Bunq! I see a lot - A LOT - of feedback. Both here as in the AppStore reviews (and reddit). I guess it's too much to fix over the weekend. Is it possible to rollback to V2 and take a good amount of time to re-release V3?

@Basdg#175383 Why? You don't want to dedicate 20% of the user interface to keep track of your 0 trees?

A request, probably somewhere in this topic, but due to policy to gather all feedback in 1 giant topic, here goes:

                    • stop pushing the green features. I have a premium supergreen subscription, but I don't care about how many trees I've planted
                    • stop pushing your marketing talk in the + options: If I want to open en subaccount, or order a travelcard, I don't care how many millions people deposited over the years or how much money was saved through ZeroFX. I'm already paying a lot of money, so I don't want spam.
                    • make + more usefull. It's seems like everything was put there that couldn't fit in one of the 3 main screens, and they tossed a coin on where to put them.
                    • be a bit more bank, less bunq.

@Fred-BR#175189 Check aptoide if you are using an android phone!

Why did you remove the ‘from’ indication on transaction details? I would like to see that account that this transaction went from:

Please Bunq. Look at the feedback here. Don‘t delete negative feedback. Look at the App Store Reviews. Go back to V2 and work on V3 again. It’s just not acceptable for a banking app. Everything I am thinking about the new app has already been said by other users.
If the app stays like this, even with small changes, I won’t be your customer for much longer.

Same transaction. Indicates different card used đŸ€ŹđŸ€Ź. How do I know the account that is used?! This is a mess!

When I use the search function it shows a different card compared to finding the transaction under the specific account manually.

@Tristan-Grey-Tiger#173047 Tristan’s post may be a bit passive aggressive, but sadly its the truth. In relation to previous releases, this release doesn’t add any real value for me. Its just an attempt to optimize the application for sales conversion. “Oh look i haven’t planted any trees yet, i should definitely invest in a higher tier membership”.

Also bitte bunq kritisieren, nicht andere User.
