• Exploring the amazing bunq V3? Let us know how we can make it even better! (2)

@Adam-Indigo-Kiwi#175445 Yes I had to activate it over and over again.

@Pierre-Golden-Llama#175447 Going to tap&pay is less practical.

On Android you can create a shortcut on your desktop for Tap & Pay.

I want to go back to V2. V3 is simply a horrible design and has made managing my account as fun as going to a physical bank, in other words useless. I had to log out of my personal account to access my business account. I cannot switch, amd if I try to add my personal account I can no longer access my business account. Oh and what wonderful UX prodigy came up with the hidden ‘force’ press on the Profile tab? Seriously? I mean SERIOUSLY! I love the concept of bunq but V3 is doing more brand damage than anyone dares admit. Solve it because bunq is or will not be the option on the market. Do I sound mad? Of course I do, with all the self-praising that bunq does I expected better, much better.

Please??

              Brian

I truly hated this new version of the app, the user experience is horrible, and non intuitive. It's too bad that bunq is forcing us to use this version, the previous one is way better; I know that moving fast is cool - but there are so many bugs on this app, and as a bank you shouldn't just push an app like this to your customers without proper testing it before. Please rollback to the previous version - it works, which is the most important part.

@Tristan-Grey-Tiger#173047 Yes, @bunq you get 2 month to fix this and implement a V2 like UI.
I dont want to see the US button or Instagram play. We are not paying this to get this junk. We are paying you to get a state-of-the-Art banking/ financial tool.
Yes, I have a premium-green account and happy to plant some trees, but why put this such a prominent place?
End Augustus I expect a V2 experience and serious involvement of endusers. And yes; stop removing critical notes....

                    @bunq#173009

How can I get rid of those "unread" badges? There is nothing in there that I haven't read.

@Kasper-Cyan-Bear#173151 in actual fact, there are only 3 add-ons, the rest can be referred to as integrations plain and simple. agree with the over-zealous praising. bunq is not the boy-wonder-of-banking, I mean they do well, but the definitely created a (negative) trust issue with me now after this update. Inwish bunq would bring back V2, and stop being so blatantly self-absorbed and ignorant to can clearly be seen as a total and utter UX failure.

@Tristan-Grey-Tiger#173047 I hope that Bunq realizes that we as a customer pay for a bank, that we are able to plant some trees, is good, but it shouldn't be the main focus. So, in this case, it shouldn't be at the front page as big as it is now. The 'us' page is not very interesting for me either So I highly support your post!

@bunq#173187 when will bunq reply to all the criticism? you have complicated my banking for me with no clear reason or motivation other that self-proclaimed genius and insights into what the customers think we need.

@bunq#173009 can not log into both a personal and business account in the same app. (iOS, 13.5.1 on iPhone 11Pro, )

I can not access my business account, I can not see if money is going where it shouldn't, I can't do payments, I cannot even look up basic account information (account numbers). This is insane, what amateur has looked at this app and decided it was 'good to go'?

Leben Sie weiter in Ihrer Filterblase.

@Tagticians#175519 Hey Matthew, fancy seeing you here. Apart from their obvious complete lack of testing, destroying the UX we where all familiar with and introducing all kinds of stuff nobody wants to see this predominantly.. I don't think they'll come back to us with apologies for this.

So this is my goodbye to Bunq. I’ve been banking with Bunq since 2016. For all my banking business. Up until a month ago I had no other active account with any other bank. But I really felt I had no other choice than to switch now and leave Bunq. Why?

Bunq has proven to be unreliable. The official statement was that as a Bunq More member, at the time that type of membership was discontinued, I could continue as-is until my cards expired. But all of a sudden without any communication beforehand, my Bunq More account was suddenly changed to a Premium account. I had to ask customer support what was going on.

And this was after they had already tried to convert me to Premium some time earlier by sending an email telling me I would be automatically upgraded if I didn’t opt-out within 24hrs or so. Well I did opt out, and finally they just upgraded me anyway a few weeks ago.

Right in the middle of the whole COVID-19 pandemic! When people have other things on their mind and don’t need their bank to start pulling tricks on them. I really had to go out of my way to get a new banking account elsewhere with all the restrictions in place, but I did.

This is just unacceptable behavior for a bank. And there is not any way to justify this. It basically forced me to leave. A bank needs to be reliable and trustworthy.

Also the whole tree loving and rainbow emoji thing doesn’t appeal to me at all: Bunq is a bank. To get my environmental itch scratched I’ll go somewhere else. But I could have ignored that if the core banking business was up to par. But it looks to me to be at the expense of new innovative banking features. The Bunq update events became less interesting to me as the years went by: each time less and smaller features that appealed to me.

Best features of Bunq that I already miss? Ability to easily forward an incoming payment, and converting an automatic debit to a request. That last one is really a killer feature. Also having a custom picture (photo) for each bank account is great, to help quickly identify and locate it. Though this seems to be removed in the latest version of the app...

But alas, there is just no way I can stay. Maybe one day I’ll come back. But my trust in Bunq will first have to be rebuilt. A good first step in that would be to not moderate, move or even remove this post. As Bunq seems to be doing to some posts, for questionable reasons imho.

                                      Goodbye Bunq.
