Hi Flamman,
Thanks for your suggestion, I could envision a couple of scenarios why I would hide an account. Let's see what other bunqers think, if you like this idea give a high five! π
Have a great evening! π
Yup, I'd love to hide accounts or at least hide the amount of money π
Flamman I don't really see the scenarios... Can you give some examples where that would be useful?
Niels When you do not wish to be reminded every day you have some money hidden somewhere. So you're less tempted to spend it and more likely to reach a savings goal.
Flamman Ah, yes that one is understandable. I keep a savings account at another bank for that. I even get some interest there π
Just open 25 accounts, and put your savings account in the bottom :) then you'll never see it π
Flamman It always amazes me how people want to trick themselves :-D
Arjan Actually it is very common: you either put your money "in an old sock" somewhere hidden, or on the table ready to be spent. Now you have an old sock lying around on the table, it makes no sense. Nothing to do with tricking yourself..
As @Dennis said (exaggerating a bit..), if you open more than 4 accounts, you don't see the fifth in your overview. Put your money there. O and you can adjust the "total amount" so that it doesn't include certain accounts.
You can hide accounts by scrolling up in the accounts menu and clicking on the three dots. So it seems to be possible already.
Jorris Hoste Do you have a screenshot for us? Can't seem to find it and as far as I know bunq hasn't introduced it.
I was too quick - this function lets you switch accounts on and off but only to tell the app to count them in the total of your they remain visible.
Jorris Hoste Correction: ...of your accounts; they remain visible.
Jorris Hoste You mean the small pencile on Android that changes the account balances it counts up for the total balance π
Diesse Yes. In iOS itβs not a pencil but three dots.
