  • Bunq.me payment to another bank: better description please!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts! You are absolutely right. When a non bunq user receives a payment through this very cool bunq.me link 🔗 is hasn't got a description that makes any scense. So I love your idea 💡 to make the description more clear. You got a big high five from me! 👍 Lets hear what other bunqrs think of this!

Now the only way to know whom payed up, is to watch out for the email your receive want somebody payed. So your administration is in your emailbox instead of your bank app :(

    100% agree with this, I think all such payment request services that use a intermediary bank account to send the money from will at least show the Name and/or IBAN of the original sender in the description. If bunq.me wants to be a Tikkie competitor this is an absolute minimum feature.

      I do agree with you guys, we had to forget about IBAN's (didn't we, bunq? 😉). I guess that a random description is not right, as we look at bunq user experience. They might change it to the same way as requests, which is name, IBAN.

          I typically ask my friends with non-unique names to append some combination of colours, fruits and animals to their names 😉

            When the iDEAL payment is done via a other bank, then the payment description is more clear. Example:
            bt849x1x NLXXRABO0109080XXX B. LASTNAME
