    New update, new chances ;).

My best experience with bunq has been with my local Cheese salesman, “Kees Kaas”, at the Dappermarkt in Amsterdam. When his daughter was running the stand for a day I bought some cheese and payed with my bunq-card using my Apple Watch. Her eyes lit up but she didn’t say anything. A week later when Kees was back at the job and I tried to pay with my Apple Watch again, he started screaming that he didn’t believe what he saw! His daughter had told him about it and he said that she must have been hallucinating. Ever since he calls me watch guy and it always gives him a smile on his face when I use the bunq-card on my Apple Watch to pay for cheese :).

My best experience with bunq was the first time I received a request for a direct debit and had to approve it. In this moment I realized how powerful the (simple) tools are that are offered by bunq. They empower the users to full control over their money. This is what I love most and I’m trying to transfer the feeling to others. 😊

My best experience was when I had an issue with an online payment and got in touch with the support. You replied within 1min in a formal and straightforward way with emojis. That was it! It was that time that I realized what bank is all about. A technology company that aims to provide the best banking experience in the market. No formal emails or letters, no waiting time and no bureaucracy. You move at the speed of the culture and you build a tribe with loyal people. I am so happy for you and I would be honored to join the event and get to know your team!

My best bunq experience is actually paying for stuff in Albert Hein and not getting the card rejected. How many times have I stood at a Dutch checkout trying to pay for one of my UK issued cards. I mean just take one, anyone will do! How many times have I had to shuffle off, hopelessly embarrassed because none of my cards would work? Or even worse sprint off mid transaction to find a cash machine that will deign to give me some money! Honestly the trials of paying for things in Netherlands know no bounds! But fear not bunq to the rescue! I now flash my stripes in Albert Hein, Jumbo, Emte, and Hema and Blokker. Bunq card? That will do nicely thank you!

All the amazed people when paying using my iWatch!

I was in Engeland with a friend a view months ago. He is a programmer by profession. I told him about all goodness from bunq. He was impressed by all the cool features. We ended by the secondary pin. I showed in de app how It works and did a payment for our coffee and sandwich. His reaction was. Woow, this is really cool! He just made my day 👊💪

My most inspiring bunq experience was when a Friend of my Tried to make á bunq account but when he entered his phone nummer the app crashed. I contacted the awesome Customer support and within one Day a update released in the play store with the Fox!

I have several bunq experiences which are worth sharing, from the surprised and positive reactions across Europe on the "rainbow" card to the looks of utter amazement when I pay for my lunch in the office cafeteria with my apple watch. But the most inspiring bunq experience is actually with my 8 year old son. I have a bunq pack, with my wife, my business and my son all being members of the pack. My son has three bank accounts, one for small purchases, one for longer term saving goals and one for charity. I believe it is good for him to learn to give back and bunq makes it possible to do this in a way that is understandable for a kid. He is able to divide his allowance over his bank accounts himself using his iphone, while i as parent have full visibility through the shared setup. As we both like to 🎮, my son recently opened up a new shared bank account with me, where we both save for a new Xbox. He is 8 years old, and thanks to bunq, is able to grasp digital money, learns to save, and learns to give back. Thank you bunq!

It was a Sunday, I had been out in Amsterdam for the day and just stopped at the shop for some end-of-week shopping. And then… something magical happened.

As I was about to pay for my shopping, I heard a somewhat familiar voice behind me: “Hey I’ve got one of those too!”. I turned around and my heart skipped a beat… It was Ali…

A lot of questions ran through my brain, I wanted to know all about the state of #8, I wanted to know about their latest marketing campaign, I wanted to know what the heck he was doing here on a Sunday night…

But I looked at him. He was tired. Lost in thoughts. His somewhat scruffy appearance had some similarities with that of a zombie. Looking deep into his eyes I could still see the lines of code and text engraved in his sclera. I didn’t know what to do. Answer my curiosity… or leave it. I had to make a decision. “Yeah they’re really great aren’t they!” is what I heard myself mumble.

I saw Ali change. His frown turned upside down. His tired face showed signs of sparks (non-twilight kind).

I saw true happiness that day, and it was bunq that did it.

This story obviously never happened, but I’m desperate.

The most inspiring bunq experience is by far paying with a bill with my iPhone!!! And how stupid of me to reset my iPhone last week. No more great mobile bunq experiences until ApplePay is officially announced in The Netherlands again. Hope update #8 will bring it back again 🙏

My best bunq experience was when i paid my first dinner with Apple Pay powered by bunq! 🍝🎉

Snelle reactie van de klantendienst, bank die mee met de tijd is en ikzelf hou ook graag van de nieuwste dingen dus ik wil graag erbij zijn 😉 ik ben zelf een Belg.

                            There are many moments.

The most inspiring was a nice lady which helped out in a young company. He was so nice and smart. We talked with her and the moment I showed her Apple Pay with my watch was like magic.

But it is also nice when friends experience the same moments and the talk about it because you referred them bunq.

That moment when you create a savings account for your newborn 👶 within seconds and not having to go to the bank and make an appointment.

My best experience with Bunq is:

That when I explain that bunq is a completely transparent bank, people are looking at me with disbelief because according to them this is no longer possible in this society.

And that makes bunq special for me and especially for people around me

                                #unlikeanyother

As a wedding photographer I was shooting a wedding with my wife on Ameland. We where there with a group because we were also invited as guests. I shared my business account with my wife. She set up a secondary pin. It was so awesome! On top of that we used slice as a group to split the bills. Really powerfull

It was an enjoyable read nonetheless 😌 plus it shows you clearly stalk bunq on Medium, making you the perfect winner!

My best experience was this week. I’m currently on Ibiza enjoying my vacation. People at the supermarket are in a hurry and dont speak english at all (my spanish is also very bad, hola will do most of the time). When at the checkout of the Lidl, when the caissier and I had talked with hands, feet and keywords (hola, bag please, yes ticket), I took my bunq card (which was attached to our special ibiza savings account, which we used for months to put money on every month (nope, not enough, lol)), and she smiled and said: nice colors (with a spanish accent). So weird that a bank card can deliver a smile on our face!

My best experience was the time that my girlfriend accidentely took my wallet, leaving me without any bank card for the day. My roommate (the hero in this story) gave away his second bunq debitcard and connected it with our shared bank account. He even used my favourite four digits to create the pincode. And all in under 1 minute! Ever since, our household is all about Bunq, Bunq, Bunq (ok, and about food, beers, travel, football and uhh food). I would love to give away The Update to my roommate, Jesper 🙌
