I was just trying to set up a scheduled payment in British Pounds from the app, but instead of setting up a scheduled payment - it just sent a regular one off payment.
There are no errors or explanation to why this happens - I can only assume there is a bug with the app that changes your course of action to a regular payment.
The precise procedure I followed that led to this bug:
- From the Bunq app I open a sub-account.
- I press the settings icon in the top right corner
- I select the scheduled payments menu item
- From the on-boarding page I select 'create a scheduled payment'
- I choose GBP (British pounds from the currency)
- I select the amount in British Pounds
- I choose a recipient
- I am taken to a screen where I can add a description and the main button is 'pay' - no date or recurring payment options
- The payment is sent, and there is no information about a scheduled payment and going back into 'scheduled payments' from the menu brings me back to the onboarding screen.
Hopefully that is enough information to reproduce the bug - setting up scheduled payments in another currency is a hugely helpful feature I want to access, so please let me know when I can expect a fix.
