  • Difference Sub account vs Joint Account

Hi there,

I am not a regular user....jet.
What is the difference between creating a sub account or a joint account?

I have 4 accounts currently, created long ago.
I thought they were SUB accounts but I do not see the 'SUB' marking in the home screen.
If I now create a new sub account the label SUB is shown.

So I am confused.

If I want to create an account simply to group transactions related to a trip I make with some friends.
What type do I have to choose?

@Menno-Golden-Kiwi#192632 There are not really subaccounts. When you create multiple monetary accounts, the default name is "sub-account", but they have the same type as your first monetary account. You can also give all your account another name, even after creating the account. Some people call their first monetary account their main account, and the rest of the monetary account a sub account, but there is no technical difference between them. You can give other bung users access to any of these accounts, and revoke the access. This is called a Connect.

A Joint account is an account with multiple (legal) owners. You can't add or remove owners after the creation of the account.

Is it possible to share an account with NON Bunq users as well?

@Menno-Golden-Kiwi#192641 Ja das ist möglich mit einer Slice Gruppe
