  • Transfer money to turkey's ziraat bank

How can i transfer money from my Bunq account to a Ziraat account in turkey? Tried it but it was rejected. I only filled in the name and iban number and system said it was send. One day later i got my money back with the message it has been rejected !!!!
What did i do wrong?

    @Ronald-Violet-Shark#28896 I think it has something to do with bunq just being able to sent euro payments and doesn't use an intermediary to switch the currency while transferring the payment.

    It might be a better idea to contact private support as they are most likely able to see the exact reason for the bounced payment.

      Use TransferWise instead

        I'd recommend Revolut over Transferwise. I recently sent a swift payment in EUR to a Turkish bank (Finansbank) without any sending fees or correspondent bank fees. Only a small receiving bank fee was deducted, which is currently the norm in Turkey. It arrived in less than a day.
