Contact management is really messy, read basically absent, in the Android app. This is really a shortcoming, because it prevents people from efficiently making transfers, and it increases the risk of errors during the process.
During the process of making a new payment, you can select contacts from the "Recents" (which is a non-existent English word) and "Contacts" list when choosing a recipient. You can even add a new IBAN and add this as a new contact. But there's no way to change a name or add a note to distinguish them again later on.
To add to the confusion, there's "Profile / Settings / Address Book" that talks about searching and adding contacts. The list is empty though, even if you added contacts through the recipient section before. You have to force a refresh by dragging the page down or start typing a new before something shows up.
The list does not allow you to edit the contact though, only to "Unpin" them, whatever that may imply. I assume this will make them disappear from the recipient list, but that makes it a confusing way to name the functionality.
Not to mention the fact that this address book is missing from the web interface again...
So all together we got a typo, a bug, inconsistencies, bad terminology and missing functionality, just for something simple as changing a name and adding a note to a contact from a contact list.
Why, after all these years, does Bunq still refuse to help us out by not implementing this handy and simple feature?
