Direct debit from a business account, how do I go about setting this up

    Do you want to pay by direct debit or collect money from your clients by direct debit?

    The latter isn't possible with bunq directly but can be achieved through a 3rd party such as Mollie.

            @Ruslan-Aquamarine-Kiwi#218273 While bunq does provide bunq.me / payment requests also for Business accounts, I wouldn't view bunq as a fully fledged PSP. As you can see in the Terms of Service, you're not even allowed to make use of the card payment option for your business payments. But with no option to really disable card payments, I would argue that the usefulness of bunq.me / payment requests for Businesses is currently quite limited.

            In the same vein, outgoing SDDs are not supported. You really want to find some dedicated PSP for billing your clients. At least for now. The possibility is always there that bunq might expand their functionality in the future.

              Thank you for your answer, as SDD it very clear.
              However bunq.me / payment requests for Businesses is not clear for me. Form what you saying looks like I can NOT create those requests via API to facilitate payment from my customers... but why and are you going to change it ?

                No, that's not correct. You can use the API to create payment requests. What is not allowed is to receive card payments via payment requests for business purposes. As long as your users pay through another payment method, that's totally fine. (For example: iDEAL, Sofort, Bancontact)

                but why and are you going to change it ?

                I'm not a bunq employee. This is the community forum, we're all just regular users here like you are. I don't know why card payments are not allowed for business transactions or if/when that will ever change. If you want to speak to bunq directly, you can contact Private Support by going to the [Profile] tab > [Menu] 🌈 > [Get Private Support].
