  • Transfer Joint Account to +1

Hi Folks, after the free Trial month, our Joint Account got archived automatically and cannot be reactivated since my wife hasn't signed up for Premium yet. Is it possible to transfer the Joint Account to a +1 Account so that we can keep the IBAN? Thanks for helping

    +1 is given a new IBAN when invited...Tried to change our existing account to a +1 but this did not work.
    After invitation a new IBAN will appear and the 'old IBAN' is stil in the account of the premium user.

      According to this article (https://together.bunq.com/d/27276-bunq-1-sharing-a-bank-account-made-easy/7) it is possible to convert an existing joint account to a +1.

      I just tested it on my phone, and the option is still there. But the documentation of bunq is not up to date. I had to go the settings of the sub account, and click on "Toegang gebruiker"(I have dutch as language), then click on the name of the other owner of the joint account, and then I could create an invite to convert the joint account to a +1.
