• iOS accessibility VoiceOver improvements

Hey bunq-team,

I am a almost blind user of bunq. Unfortunately, some elements of the UI are not accessible to blind users who use VoiceOver (the iOS screenreader).

Lightning button:
The biggest problem is definitely the lightning button. Blind people can't find and activate the button with VoiceOver, so they also can't use the functions behind it.

account rectangles:
for example: account-name: "pocket money" value: "100€"
The rectangle contains two different elements – the name and the value. So you have to jump to each element individually. It would be better if the entire rectangle is a single VoiceOver element so that VoiceOver reads ”name + value" at once. Example "pocket money 100€“. In addition, the element would also be much larger and thus easier for blind users to find by navigating the display with their finger. A very good example is the home screen of iOS, where you can quickly find any other app element while wiping your finger across the screen.

money, CO2 and time saved bar:
VoiceOver just reads out the names "money saved", "CO2 saved" and "time saved". The values how much money, time or planted trees are completely hidden from VoiceOver. It would be nice if VoiceOVer would first read the value aloud, and secondly, if the name and the value were also combined into one element, so VoiceOver reads out the name and the belonging value at once.

open a new subaccount:
"pick a color and icon", "pick photo" and the "next"-button is everything that VoiceOver recognizes and reads out. No access to the colors and no access to the icons as well. Please keep in mind that even visually impaired people who can still see a little use VoiceOver and often use colors for guidance.

I hope my feedback helps you. I am still testing bunq and I can only finally decide for bunq, if I really able to use the app as a blind person with all of it's functions. I'm curious about an upcoming update.

kind regards
Daniel
